I don't think it would ever happen, and I wouldn't trade anything higher than our second round pick. I honestly don't have much hope for Lance, but for those that want to wait on a QB, it's a useful kick of the tires. Personally, I want to draft Bryce Young at 2.
My main thing is making sure we aren't held hostage by the Bears. Many aren't sold on Lance, but he hasn't started enough games to say anything on him one way or the other. All I know is he is big kid, strong arm and can extend plays and has player comp (upside potential) of Josh Allen. All things Caserio likes. If he gets past the snake bitten start to his career and turns into what many think he could be, its a win. If he ends up being a bust, cool….you only used one of the 3 picks from the Browns to test it. It’s a calculated gamble. Kid just needs a chance.
And I’m also 1000% happy with Bryce at pick #2, but again…the Bears gonna be playing games with the Texans for the next 3 months.
Yes he can do an in person interview after conference championship game and any deal can be “agreed” too but can’t be announced till Team is out of playoffs I believe
