Hell no. I don’t want a guy in his second year of coaching, and hasn’t called plays, running the offense for a first time, defensive HC. That’s a disaster waiting to happen.

Have to say I’d feel pretty indifferent about a Demeco hire. Like all coordinator promotion to head coach hires, it would be an experiment, the kind that sometimes hit, and quite often miss. I’m also in the camp that would prioritize an offensive-minded coaching hire to come in with likely QB of the future
Want a boring offense? There you go! Yeah, he coached in KC, but the Giants were nothing like KC with him as their coordinator this year. He is young though. Maybe he didn’t have enough time to gear it up with them.

As much as I love Bryce Young and think he's a star, if he gets drafted at 1-1, I'd trade our second round pick for Lance and go all defense. If he sucks, you drop him, and you really could get a quarterback next year. I hated typing that.

I would be ok with that. I know that pick 12 is important, but being able to use one of those two picks on a QB was the goal from jump anyway, might as well roll that dice on Lance and take all defense with all other picks.
