I agree. I am not bothered by either of them as they are still learning their craft......

I think the Rox are better off with KPJ and Alpi together.....as they can both take the pressure of the other.

Look at the 4th quarter when the TWolves shut ALPI down - where was our guard to penetrate and take advantage......?????

What we need is for the HEAD HONCHO to work the ball through Alpi as the primary hub and to hit those catch and shoot 3s, and when Alpi goes to the bench we can let KPJ do his thing.

IMHO, if you benched Green all together this team would get a lot better.

Because one is a 20-year-old Sophomore C that has been primarily used as a rim runner and roller. Sengun also makes up for some of this by being one of the most efficient scoring options in the NBA, something that KPJ is not. KPJ has 4 straight years of identical A/T.

If we continue to run things through Sengun, and he can’t get to 2/1+ like Sabonis/Jokic, then we shouldn’t be running things through him, either.

TLDR: KPJ deserves the criticism and needs to be better, or used better.

Of course. He was not in a role to make assists before, so it is stupid to use his previous numbers to judge his assist/to ratio. He already has 2 assist/to ratio(42/21) since the sac game where kpj got injured. It is still a lot of turnovers but not bad at all for starters. I am assuming it will only improve.

    Edit:
And it is not just assists. I am sure there are more hocket assists and a lot of better ball movement causing better things to happen.

It's not really a fair comparison to use the entire season. If you want to compare the two, look at games where KPJ is the primary playmaker vs games where Sengun is the primary playmaker. Obviously his ast/tov isn't going to be very good if he's used as a rim runner and post up player but not used as a playmaker.

Sengun is a better passer and has better court vision than kpj. If u are refusing this simple statement there not much to discuss with a delusional kpj fan.

Horse **** 7 assists and 4 turnovers is exactly the same, the only difference is that Sengun's look prettier.....that's it....the end result is 100% the same....

And if we can get both these guys to play well and Green and Jabari to be able to toss it into the ocean consistently we have something.

I am just saying be consistent with all of them they are all developing.

I don't think you understand what I wrote, Senguns 7 ast 4 tov game was yesterday, which is when he was being used as a playmaker. So obviously those are comparable. I was talking about the ast/tov for the whole year, I don't think those are comparable.

There is at least one person in here not being consistent.

There is a very clear difference in a Sengun-centric offense, and a KPJ one. The fact that you can’t see it is mind boggling.

Would be really nice If we could see Sengun climb this chart as the season progresses. Would also be nice If our guards could keep some of these guys in front of them.

    Room for some Josh minutes?

Is Silas on drugs or something?

Alpi has been a very willing passer from the start.

I think Silas is trying to justify his irrational treatment of Alpi by applying some revisionist history.

It doesn't matter, it is a turnover percentage.....whether he gets the ball a lot or a little.

Of course I see it, i think we should run through it.....I am saying the END RESULTS are the same, we lose by about 7 points a game, whether we run through KPJ or Sengun same end result.

How can you say it doesn't matter? Do you think its coincidence that his ast/tov has gone way up since he's been given the opportunity to run the offense?
