He didn't quit, he's just not any good at basketball at the NBA level.

 

I really dont thinknhe has a choice but to keep trying.

Yeah Green had an all time terrible game which is in great contrast to the previous game he had...but if Green was consistent with his last good game he'd be a top 10 player and we'd be talking about playoff seeding. Obviously, he's not that but he's obviously not putting up bust numbers every night either. He's in that odd spot where you hope he can find some consistency on the positive side and grow from there.

I hope he'll be able to do that but its so clear this team has given up on this season and getting much out of it so its' really hard to say.

 

Absolutely unacceptable effort from Jalen today. This is now two games against Minny where he looks like he’d want to be anywhere else but the court.

Where is the fire? If our future is going to be in his hands, then we need him to lead the team out of this type of losing streak—not give into it.

 

just goes to prove ...YOU NEED NOT TANK...in fact wed be much better off without jalen cause alpi would been given keys long time ago and he would have won ROY and had a couple of mvp contender seasons under his belt already

 

I tried to trick myself into paying attention to a full game via listening on 790 .. Couldn't even do that!.. That's a new all-time low for me.. smdh

 

If you play in the nba you gonna get dunked on. Even the best defenders get dunked on. Who cares. I'm concerned with how crappy Jalens defense was on that play. Like wtf.

 

Jalen just let him go right in the lane lol Just moved right out of the way.

 

So my father in law turned 80 tonight so I missed the game, did Sengun and Jalen blow up without KPJ in the way as everyone was saying?

I'm old enough to remember when the Rockets were better than the Timberwolves.

 

Rockets have the worst shooting in NBA. They seem OK with that.

 

I think if Alpi was the top pick they would have let him do whatever he wanted without any accountability, like KPJ and Green. It shows that spoiling is neither good to kids nor young players. I don't think Alpi would have won ROY either way, he has improved so much this year comparing to last year. Also, sometimes you still need to tank and draft the right guy, most franchise players are lottery picks in the NBA history. However, Rockets is over tanking. If they drafted Mobley instead of Green, our tanking would have been over (or there's also a chance Silas found a way to ruin Mobley).

 

Mobley would be standing in the corner watching KPJ dribble like Jabari. Not sure how that would help. Only thing that can break the KPJ love fest is if we draft a b
