Not largely either. Good and Great players sometimes take time. My comparison for Jalen was Devin Booker or Zach Lavine and they both are all strs and took time.

3 more Freebies by Sengun and if Green could have just scored 17pts Rox would have won in a thriller. Or turn the ball 16 times instead of 21.

Teams have figured out he has poor lateral movement - he’s either too small to guard SFs or or too slow to guard Guards

Which is compounded with Gordon and Green on court

How do you shoot 57% as a team from FTs? That is like a college team, this is just poor discipline and these guys need to get in the gym. I can understand one guy shooting 65%, but your whole team in total sub 60%?

Zach Lavine has never been close to a winning player. A good scorer sure, but never even approached being an elite guy. If that’s who Jalen is being compared to, bad outcome for our 2nd overall pick.

Devin Booker is a popular comp. Sure. That would be great. But again…that’s an outlier case. I hope that happens but it’s not likely.

I see they went 19-33 from the free throw line

Stone built a team that’s terrible at all facets of the game

How do u suck at every single thing?

What did Timberwolves fans say about Jalen Green after the game?

"They wasted a #2 pick on him?!?!"

    "
Sengun had me worried in the first half, but thank god they kept giving minutes to Jalen Green so our offense could get into gear.

"If the Rockets offered Green in a trade, which Timberwolves player would you be comfortable trading back? I wouldn't even give Austin Rivers"

I think it's far more rare guys are elite their first 3-4 years, far more rare.

Guys are decent to good, starter level players if that...but elite? No. Elite is perennial all-star dominating nightly and a possible top 20 player.

Spending another Sunday morning that would have been glorious at the beach to watch the Rockets is a clear indication that I might need to speak to a psychiatrist.

Every game is the same, just leaves you pissed right the **** off. **** this team so much.

See you next game fellas, can't wait.

He's not an outlier I can name an entire slew of all stars that were ass early. He is not going to be Lebron or Luka no but those are guys who are generational, Jalen was never said to be generational so this is your fault for expecting that really lol. He can still be an all star in a few years maybe even top 10. Sometimes it takes time.

He's unfortunately had multiple Toronto games already.

Wonder if KPJ was the problem, or whether he just just had the loser-mentality from the beginning.

He does have that dog in him. We’ve seen it plenty of times before. Yes he’s lost some confidence, but he needs a veteran point guard next to him as well as a better coaching to put him in positions to succeed.

We have some words in Turkish for this situation...
    It means...

"Thanks to God, those bad days are over. Now it's time for worst days ":D

Daaaaamn, I saw that! Once again, his defense is shaky at best.

Stone is such a genius. His #16 (Sengun) pick and #24 pick (JC) played so much better than the #2 pick two years ago, and his #17 pick (Eason) played so much better than his #3 pick (Smith). At least Smith plays some defense, which makes Green look exceptionally bad.
