Fastest foul in nba history ( 2nd place also sengun ) ,fastest back to back assist in nba history and also if you consider fastest goal in world cup history was scored by a turk. We are fast .
It feels like a broken record from sengun fans bc the kpj only fans were quite resistant with the reality that sengun is in fact the best player on the team
Sengun needs the ball in his hands to be most effective. He doesn’t have to be the main guy, but he gotta at least to touch the ball %70 of the time he is on the floor. It doesn’t matter if it is a quick give and take action, you gotta let the kid touch the ball. Sometimes he just runs around for 3 minutes while guards try to iso. Freezing him out makes him useless as he is not a great defensive presence yet, and the guards usually go bananas when they go iso and take the worst shot possible. Also, when Sengun has the ball they gotta do something. It is painful to watch them sit on the three point line doing nothing. Give them a popcorn if they come to watch the game inside the court, not the ball. It is clear that Stone values Green and KPJ more than Sengun, and it is understandable. Btw I don’t even add Silas to the conversation. John Wall made it clear Stone controls Silas. That is why he is still here, and won’t be fired until he is given a good squad and **** it up himself. I don’t have much against Silas. Not gonna judge him before he has the full control. At the start of the season Stone wanted Sengun to be the 6th man because he knows that Sengun needs touches to be effective. He wanted KPJ and Green to shine, but also didn’t want Sengun to lose his value or hinder his development, but Bruno got injured, and Sengun played too good to cut from the starting 5. Now, after the KPJ injury Sengun exploded and they ended up in a position to make a decision. I suspect that as the season goes on Sengun will have more touches and minutes whether KPJ is in or out. I expect to see a change in the offensive game plan. He earned it, and they gotta see if Sengun can pull it off. It is easier to put some 7 footer on the post that provide good defense and rebounding and let the others do their thing. It is the safer path. With Sengun, there is a chance that he might never become an average defender and he may end up unplayable in the playoffs, but this is the worst case scenario and unlikely to happen. People say that he will be like Kanter. Kanter’s career bests are 0.5 stl, 0.7 blk. Sengun is currently averaging 0,8 stl, 1 blk as a 20 y.o. I believe that with experience, better defensive scheme and coaching, and adding muscles Sengun can become an above average defender. Give him a few years. Yes, he will never be an elite defender, but he also won’t end up unplayable in playoffs. And please stop with Kanter ****. He is already better than prime Kanter. It is too low of a bar for him. I personally believe that Sengun has the potential to do everything on the offense at a good level. He can end up elite in the post scoring, playmaking and hopefully midrange. %33 three ball on 3 attempts would be more than enough and there is no reason for him not to reach that. These are achievable for him. Kid has good hands. I feel like his weird movement style negatively effects people's perception of him. I mean, a very unathletic and undersized big should not be able to posterize this many people, or dribble the ball coast to coast to make a no look pass or a dunk. I think people undervalue his physical capabilities because he is a goofy guy. Also, he can dribble the ball with both hands while many centers can’t even dribble with their strong hand, and he can shoot with both hands around the rim. He is ambidextrous and it is not talked enough. I always feel like people tend to forget this kid won’t turn 21 until this season ends. With enough touches and minutes he is already a 19/11/5/1/1.2 guy at 20. Don’t overthink him like they did on the draft night. Give him the opportunity first.
thanks, nice writing! 1 thing I disagree tho is that he will never be elite defensively... dont think so...has all the tools...not sure if he does it of course, but his defensive potential is through the roofs...
Crazy that you have problem with me bc I have a different opinion. I don’t hate Sengun at all, I yell “Sengun” loud when he makes plays to the point I wake my kid up. At the same time, I’m a rockets fan first and i question his archetype. I criticize KPJ a lot and said he’s not a PG. you can’t give any constructive criticism or call out Sengun for anything. It’s always someones else’s fault. It’s like he’s so perfect and can’t do no wrong in your eyes
dont forget one of the fastest dunks or it was a layup, few games back, he scored with 11:57 or it was 11:56 on the clock
