Tilman pull the trigger and Fire Silas? We've known and seen everything firsthand! Team does not respect Silas. Constant struggling! No respect! No direction! No defense! Nothing!! The Fanbase is EXHAUSTED but yet, ownership is continuing to allow this go on. So, I ask you....WHY IS TILMAN REFUSING TO PULL THE TRIGGER AND PUT SILAS AND THE FANBASE OUT OF OUR MISERY?
I thought the same thing but even if they made a change and started winning, they will still be in the hunt for the #1 pick.
Sort of but different. I want to know why he won't pull the trigger? Everybody is discussing this issue, even Sports 610 am and they NEVER, EVER, NEVER talk about the Rockets.....so it's gotten to a boiling point.
I think we all know Silas needs to be fired but my question is more or less, why Tilman won't fire Silas. It's plainly clear that he needs to go to everyone but what is the hold up? Or should Silas resign??? I think this is affecting his future in the league, as well.
I know it gets harped on a lot, but man, it is hard to focus on anything else until he's gone. He just sucks so bad as coach, is hurting development, playing people to their weaknesses instead of their strengths. He is making us suck so bad it is one of the biggest stories in the league that smart NBA analysts focus on, and is the biggest story of our entire team. He's gotta go.
Why is easy. They want to be worst. Being worst doesn't just guarantee you 14%. It guarantee's you fall no further than 5th instead of 6th if you are 2nd worst and 7th if you are 3rd worst. Maximizing draft opportunity. Silas isn't the problem, the problem is Stone (and not really a problem), who gave him the parts he has to work with. Why would Stone fire the guy who's insulating him from criticism and giving him exactly what he wants? KPJ as a starting point guard and Nix as his primary backup .... Tyty in the G league, you think Silas sent him down there ? Stone said before the season began that winning wasn't the objective this season ..... They are tanking and it's obvious who's in charge of that. Firing Silas changes Nothing.
Because we’re tanking. Stone told you before the season started that they are not measuring success by wins and losses.
He wants Quin Snyder, who wouldn’t be able to take over the team until next season, anyway. Why fire Silas and risk Lucas taking over and turning the team around? Then you’ve got to deal with the backlash of not hiring the interim coach who did a great job for half a season and ruining your odds at the #1 pick. Just let Silas finish out the year and make it more obvious why you need to make a change this summer.
