I honestly didn't even think of this angle. I vividly remember where I was and how my heart sank when I heard the news that Tilman bought the team. And it's ended up even worse than I thought.

Honestly I don’t know how they can unwind this ugly situation without severe repercussions. Silas will be here for years to come, so we all better be hoping for a 14% draft miracle or groundhog year will continue next year with young Amen Thompson and his 20% threes. Silas keeps getting close to his 20 losses in a row Rockets record and if he doesn’t hit it on this current run, chances are he’ll finally get it next season.

To be clear…..Stone is a great drafter. Green, Smith, Sengun, TyTy, Garuba, and KMJ are unbelievable picks! Issue is that he needs to stay in his lane and not coach the team.

We now know for a fact that Stone really REALLY does not want the spotlight to be put on him. I'm surprised Tillman didn't step in here and put the nail in the coffin honestly, but I just suspect that the Fertittas are really really tied up in the Vegas strip project, and he just doesn't have much focus on the Rockets right now. Otherwise, I don't know how he could sit there and let Stone hide behind Silas' failures.

 

Tilman was just at the rockets game sitting right next to the Breaking Bad stars. Lets not give Tilman that much credit here. he's terrible.
