Jalen and Sengun look more promising than ever with KPJ gone. No reason to melt down.

Murray and Don Mitchell were on a Mexican standoff.

Barkley was 6'4..........one of the greatest rebounders ever because of his footwork to get in to position to get the rebound

Chuck Hayes was 6'6 playing centre....................

it isn't about height if you have good footwork and are willing to get in the right spot. Garuba can get in front and box out pushing back in to Williams. It just comes with experience and learning how to position yourself

vs some time against what many, two weeks ago, would say is our best defender.

Yes obviously, not every player will get paid max.

This is why Ive said a team full of show ponies loses.....no work horses willing to
do the dirty work.

If you expect your SF to be your rim protector.....you will find yourself
up s*** creek without a paddle.

Do you know what the Warriors would do? Before Durant, Bogut, McGee,
Jordan Bell, Zaza P......play them about 20 minutes for rim protection
and rebounds.

With Durant they went Hampton Five. Durant had to take less money to
keep that group together.

When you put max money in your big like Jokic, Embiid, KAT.....you are risking
teams going small in the playoffs to run your big off the court.

This is why it's dumb to have so much money invested in a big that is good
during the season but can't afford money for those needed to subsidize his
loss in the playoffs as teams go smaller.

Let's say max money right now is $40Million......$40M sitting
on the bench because teams race down court to get favorable numbers
for an open 3......it truly becomes a numbers game of 2's vs 3's.

The Jokic, Embiid, KAT hard working 2's do not negate the 3's that
are easier to come by if you have proficient shooters that can run the floor.

Suns had good shooters in Booker, Cam Johnson, Bridges, add CP3.....Ayton
was being questioned last year by coach as to whether he was a plus or liability
in the playoffs?

Bucks had Jrue Holiday, Middleton, Tucker, Bobby Portis, Brook Lopez......notice
that you don't pay Lopez big money as he may be run off the court. Go smaller
with Bobby Portis. Giannis defensively helps defensively. Not every team
has a phenom like Giannis or Dray defensively.

Miami: Jimmy Butler, Crowder, Herro, Duncan Robinson, Olynyk, Meyers
Leonard (was 41.5% from 3 in 19/20).......now Lowry. Bam bam Adebayo
was like Robert Williams or Looney but at some point they want too much
money......Miami has to decide on paying the man and not afford talent
around Jimmy....or down grade in pay and talent at the position.

Hawks busted things open going from 20 wins to 41 wins the next year:
Trae Young (phenom that playoff), Galanari (40.6% from 3 in 20/21), D Hunter
(was 38% from 3), Cam Reddish (64.3% in the playoffs), Huerter, John Collins (40% in PO)
But since they paid Capela.......could not afford to keep that group together.

I don't allow my big to be the main event in the regular season because I don't
expect them to be major contributors in the playoffs. Spread the wealth between
positions 1-4......skimp on the 5 (Center).

I allow Sengun to be 3rd or 4th option just like Silas is doing. Promote or elevate
my 4 (PF) to center in the playoffs. That would be Jabari with added weight
or muscle next year. Possibly Wembanyama. Mark Williams gives me the
dirty work for 4 more years without breaking the bank.....and I can
keep him on the floor as long as he runs like a SF.

Considering the guy you just wanted to stop talking about is by far a worse defender. You want to know what would improve Sengun's defensive lapses? IF EVERY SINGLE TIME THE PERIMETER DEFENDER (let me dumb it down for you - a large portion of this is Jalen Green) didn't have (I'm going to do something fun and use your own words against you) So MaNy DeFeNsIvE lApSeS he can't stop a slug from getting past him and waltzing right into the paint.

You want to know how else you lose credibility? By claiming the losing streak justifies acting like Jalen (and KPJ) do out on the court. Can you count for me how many times Sengun looks disinterested when he doesn't have the ball? Or Tari? Or Bari? Or... include literally every Rocket not Green/KPJ/Ego. Or the times he actively ignores teammates? He learning from big homie head honcho real fast.

If you focus on Green an entire game, and then at the end of it come away thinking 'heh, this dude is alright, lets blame someone else for doing something wrong'. You're a certified moron.

Did you hate on T-Mac for his zero effort moments? Or Harden? I can almost certainly guarantee you'd be the type of person who did. Yet here you are, thinking Sengun is the problem defensively HAHAHAHAHA.

Jalen Green. The uber athletic 20 year old in only his second NBA season already has racked up more 'I don't give a f*ck I'm just gonna quit right now' moments on defense than T-Mac and Harden combined.

So Jalen Green has gone bonkers in two of the games with over 20 points by *halftime. I don't think many were in the Assisted variety. But I've said since Preseason: stagger Green and KPj minutes like we did CP3 and Harden. Both need to feel good about themselves in their own skin. Probably see it in the final 20 games.

It's pretty clear you hate Jalen so much because you are a huge Sengun nutrider/SOF. You are the one who lost all credibility here since the only reason you are mad is because Jalen is taking the shine off Sengun. Pathetic. Green has to be perfect in all aspects otherwise he gets **** from you even if he is literally the best player of the game, but with Sengun you actually blame others for his deficiencies. P.S. i know you must hate it so much Jalen again was the best player of the game and led the team to a win and it isnt Sengun. Cry more man. Green no 1, Sengun no 2. Deal with it.
