When have they waited to draft a QB in the past?

    Carr over Peppers

    Clowney over Bortles

    QB over BPA?

Would you rather RS picked Bortles? I feel the same way about this QB class as I did that QB class. Although this QB class is slightly better than that one, no QB in this class is worth 1-2. IMHO

You dont draft a QB that high just because you need a QB, this line of thinking has played a large part in why the Texans org is where it's at today. Marketing over substance, the Texans are going to get what they deserve unless blind luck strikes the org and one of these QB's turn out to be much better than I think they will.

It's interesting that if any of the QB turn out better than *you* think they will, you define it as blind luck as opposed to any chance other people could see things you don't.

It's a learned response after watching this team for 2 decades.

He's probably going to cost between 19-22 mil per year.

Who knows. Most of the reports said the meeting went well, and then Cowherd dropped that.

I highly doubt Payton wants Cowherd saying that, bc it hurts his negotiating power if he takes teams out of the race, unless of course he told him to do it as a negotiating tactic to drive up the price for the Texans, assuming he wants the job.

I don’t take anything Cowherd says at face value.

Tony Pollard. Normally I wouldn’t pay running backs, but **** that. Give Pierce some help.

I think you’re way wrong and I hope they do too.

I’m wayyyyyy lower on Caleb Williams than their of these guys.

But other teams probably feel different than you do too.

Were you high on every QB that’s turned into a stud? That’s doubtful

Weren’t you really high on Zac Wilson?

I wouldn't put much stock in any of these reports. When is the last time we heard a report that an interview DIDN'T go well?

Tony Pollard is going to want to be the lead back. If he wanted to be a backup, he’d just stay in Dallas.

Ironically (or not so much), the Texans botching the Payton interview per Cowheard is usually never something that gets publicized like that this quickly… yet the Texans likely did look disorganized, probably talked a lot on mute, probably had to log out and log back in a few times due to being in a room with spotty wifi, or probably didn’t realize the 2 hour time difference between LA and had it at an awkward time.

Yes and the final chapter on Wilson's career is still far from being written.

    I was right on Mahomes

    50/50.

    I hope I'm wrong too,

Reality says they're going to pick a QB, even though they shouldn't.
