I see the problems with the Jokic style but the argument that it hasn't been a successful one to get to the finals is way overblown to come to the point 'it is not a winning style'. How many seasons did jokic have a cast that is strong enough to make the finals, regardless of style? Typically it takes a few consecutive years to build that playoff culture. The sample is too small and more importantly there is only one team that is trying that, so it is anyway mathematically much greater probability that the other method will win. And this is in the era of GSW and Lebron and generally a strong league. The same is true for the Harden, Luka style. I am not a big fan of it but still it has been tried way too little to show that it technically has less chance of winning. Just to clarify, I am not supporting the heliocentric team constructions.
