Lol the point he's making is that you are swinging at air and yelling at it like a schizo. Who is coming in and saying Green "is the best" after one game. It really is out of control. Even Clutch last night admitted subtlety that he's holding back being honest about a few things because he knows what type of blowback he'll get. When someone like Dave can't even talk freely you know it's bad.
This crap is out of control dude. You guys have lost your damn minds. Nobody is conspiring to ruin Sengun's career to prop up anothers. Most of us here are just simply Rockets fans, and don't have an "only fan" agenda. This is by far the worst team in the league. EVERYONE deserves criticism.... especially the fandom at the moment which seems to have lost their freaking minds.
If I'm going to make an assumption, it's genuine criticism of Sengun. Probably about him being a poor floor spacer and a poor rim protector. But that's the thing. I'm sure Clutch loves Sengun and thinks he's a core part of this team's future success but we just can't have basic simple criticisms of Sengun.
I can't speak for Clutch and what he was referring to, but I can speak from experience that with this current only fans cult if you say the name Sengun, and not every single word is 100% positive, you will be attacked. That's just a fact.
Criticism is different than flat out fabrication. Bottom line is there are just as many posters on this forum that denigrate Alp (because he doesn’t fit what they think an NBA center should be/look like) that overrate him. But y’all only speak on one side of that. I am a Rockets fan. End of story. But there’s one building block that gets more hate than any other. And it’s not Green or Bari.
Those are valid concerns, even if they aren’t all the way true. But………it doesn’t come across as criticism when the critique isn’t the same for players that are worse defensively and “shooters” that can’t shoot
It is a bit extreme with some of them. There’s also some extreme criticism that isn’t based in truth.
We have posters actively trying to trade Alp for Mark freaking Williams. A guy that just started playing for one of the worst teams in the league.
Alpi only fans need to learn of the story of the man who met multiple assholes in a day. If the first person you meet for the day was an *******, they probably were the *******. If by the end of the day everyone you met you thought was an *******, you probably were the *******.
Clutch has always felt that way about Sengun, he’s said it many times in the past. I also feel the same way. We just gotta figure it out and get some help. If you’re gonna have him on the floor, you gotta have a team around him to cover for his weaknesses
