Stone seem like he is going to keep Silas, because Stone can play co-coach on the team. If they are not going to fire Silas they need couple of veteran when they trade Gordon and Tate.
I am calm, why are you giving me silly arguments about their performance tonight based off insignificant plus minus numbers???? +2 and +4 against the Hornets without Lamelo Ball. Did you see those turnovers, they were live ball turnovers that led directly to points, and both Sengun and Green were absolutely trash on defense. Like there is nothing to praise here.
Nothing to praise here is kinda absurd. Like really absurd actually. Their team was literally winning in the 40 minutes they were in the court.
The team is a dumpster fire. You'll get no counter argument from me. Poorly assembled, no coaching, no leadership. It's sad. KPJ is a problem though. He's absolutely worthless and hinders anything they can possibly build We play him and OKC is laughing all the way.
They were part of the problem yes, they were the best players but it doesnt excuses what happend tonight. Their defense and decision making were bad and their offense was not good enough to overcome how bad their defense was. Agreed.
Chowd, we are playing the Hornets, not only that, we are playing the Hornets without Lamelo ball. They are the second worst team in the league. Why should I be impressed that Jalen was a plus 4 and Alp was a plus 2?
It is not a mismatch if you score 41 and the guy you are guarding matches or exceeds that...... If this team doesn't play defense simple DEFENSE it is going to continue to be unwatchable. Offensive stats in a tanking year, are meh...... I want to see growth and I see barely any.... DD
Because it's a NBa game? And because it's not top of them being ultra efficient at least offensively. It's not like in bringing up +/- to cover up a bad shooting night or something.
Barely and it was agaisnt a team who's the second worst in the league. What are we doing here man? I know you understand what Im getting at.
These are things you say to fit your narrative. If KPJ had a efficient 41 pt 7 assist game you wouldn't be saying that those stats are irrelevant.
Dude.....come on man. What kind of argument is this? Jalen got 40, thats great, he was also chucking shots and not passing it well/running into traffic and his turnovers were really bad. Same with Alpi. This no name center came in and completely ate his lunch in the second half. The defense is bad.
I really don't because you literally are harping on them as part of the problem tonight. Like you said these things when the Rockets lost to some random **** team where Harden did well but poor defensively? I mean we were winning a lot of games but those nights still occasionally happened. "harden had a bad game and is the reason the lost!". No, you would be complaining about the team around him. And I'm just speaking about this single game. Please don't take this as an offense that in comparing Harden to Sengun and Green. I'm just using it to show the logic and mindset not being consistent.
He shot 16/24 and had 7 assists to 4 turnovers. Ya four turnovers are not great but it's forgivable on a 16-24 shooting night while still having 7 assists. Did you watch the game also? Jalen Green's turnovers mostly came from the Hornets pressing the passing lanes early in the game leading to Green making errand passes. It wasn't because he was running into traffic. Outside of one possession he actually was passing well our of doubles because the Hornets we're starting to double and reap him in the second half.
Because they were? Like is bad defense and turnovers not contributing to losing? Dude if this game was against idk the Celtics or some other playoff team, cool I get it, we can talk about it. The other team we just lost to is another historically bad team without its best player, while we are the worst team in the league coming off our like 5th straight loss or whatever. They can take accountability when they play poorly. There are nights when Jalen/Sengun are playing against top level competition that I will give them slack, but this is not one of those games. They were bad tonight and they earned it. They need to fix their defense going forward. And if we lost this much with Harden, Id be saying the same thing. I have criticized Harden plenty when he's played bad and you have seen that. Harden has shot us out of plenty of games(specially the Westbrook year towards the end) but I always said that but in the end we won WAY more than we lost. Thats not happening here
DumbDumb a dogdamn hypocrite. Clutch, Sam Vecenie, everyone points out KPJ’s defense and not getting back. “Meh. Not his fault. No one else got back either.” Green goes off for 41. “Don’t care, lost the game. Offensive stats mean nothing. His guy matched/exceeded the 41!” (No he didn’t.) Also DD: “Did you see KPJ’s 27/6/5! Not his fault we lost!” How did dumbdumb’s other guy do? 4-16 in 20 minutes? (Left with an injury?) Damn! I know if someone else went 4-16, he’d be creating another trade thread. If Silas wants to save his job, do the opposite of whatever dumbdumb says.
Those turnovers led directly to points. And his defense was REALLY REALLY bad. Like his transition defense for how athletic he is, is truly unacceptable. Im talking about those things in totality, not specifically where the turnovers came from. He was running into traffic and not making the right reads. Raw assists dont make him a good play maker and thats not what happend tonight. He's a second year player and Im not saying he sucks, but he was part of the problem tonight, I dont care if he got 40 on the second worst defense in the league.
