We have Tinman, Os and a couple of others ruining the forum by posting several times per day stupid pseudo political stories that get them lathered over wokeness. Assuming they don't spend all day scouring the web for these gems where do they come from. If you put them on ignore, the forum won't be ruined. Occasionally, you'll see a fellow poster seemingly arguing with a ghost. Of course, that won't be a problem if the fellow poster also uses the ignore feature.
The other day I saw about 10 total threads on the front page of the D&D and it took me a second to realize that was because I've got one particular poster on ignore.
Tinman is just getting people to unwittingly read Breitbart every day and then get mad about it. It's quite funny and brilliant. If you don't subscribe to these ideas then why would you engage with them on a daily basis? It should be a pretty safe bet you can find propaganda coming from both sides on any given day. Your level of engagement is really up to you. Like, I don't need to check pornhub every day to know its probably people having sex...
You traded T man for Bobbythegreat between GARM and D&D. Everyone loses and nobody wins. Both seemingly have mental issues that they take out on a random message board (THIS ONE) on the internet. I am not going to mince words. They both seem like they are losers that don’t have many friends and are bitter as hell. If you go look at Bobby’s posts right now 47 of the last 50 are negative Jalen green posts. Look at the last 10 pages of the d&d, every page just about has several of his threads and 90% of the last posts of them are his. He likely bookmarks them all to bump on occasion. I also presume if you ran all the posts in the d&d since he started inundating it with his threads the reading level has lowered considerably. Unlike Bobby I actually used to like Tman’s posts several years ago. The guy got old though and watched a bit too much cable news and it warped his head.
They can be, yes. I don’t like the fact he enables trump or the anti fauci campaign. All the same, he’s doing some very interesting things with technology at the moment. I am not conditioned to hate successful people if that is what you are getting at.
Honestly, I don't really read twitter and that sounds like a huge waste of time and energy. I will say, the poll about him leaving twitter I found to be funny. He obviously wanted out. The hatred is a little mystifying to me but I'm not too attached either way. Instead of basing your ideas around how funny a guy is on twitter, maybe examine who will be in history books from this point in history. I can't think of a single person we value who is successful. What's more American than hate? If you stepped out of the United States long enough you'd start to see that.
If society improves in 50 years then future history books will use Musk as an example of our economic system run amuck.
That is more a problem with the system than anything else. It is unfair to put that on one person who is following the law. Even if I don’t oftentimes share his views politically it doesn’t mean I have to hate him for being successful or think that everything he does is meaningless. I mean heaven forbid a billionaire doesn’t hoard his money and actually tries to advance technology…
The fact that you know who Musk is and not who John B Goodenough is a very telling indictment of society as a whole (assuming you don't know who he is as most don't). Basically a symptom of our society going downward is the over crediting of people like Musk in their contributions to society. Their achievements are more an accomplishment of the modern implantation of "public relations"
I disagree. They are starting clinical trials in 6 months on a device that may help cure blindness. Just one example. I don’t understand what you are getting at? I don’t share many of his views politically. Even if what you are saying is true and he’s just throwing away his money, why do I have to hate him?
