I like this mock except that we take a OL with our pick at 12 https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft...assers-off-the-board-in-first-five-picks/amp/
I know some might be against getting a qb in the draft, but it’s hard to deny the facts about both conferences. Seems most of the young elite qbs are mostly in the AFC, and they seem to be mostly 1st round picks. Herbert, Lamar “if he stays in the AFC” Watson to be included. Very interesting seeing the contrast in the NFC.
Not to nit pick, and I'm not sure how far he threw that, but he had a three step head start. He won't have that clean a pocket ever, except on a hail mary roll out, and I've seen that done plenty in the NFL. That video doesn't impress me a ton. Richardson's physical traits do, though.
To be fair, I like AR physical skillset. But he is a project. Would hope to develop QB skills and not be a Fields type running back that throws a little.
Richardson has great physical tools but watching him weekly in the SEC he doesn’t have the mental acumen he needs to be successful in the NFL. He may acquire it over time but he isn’t there at this point.
Oh yeah, completely agree. When you watch that Levis video above, coupled with what I believe will be a plus performance at the whiteboard, and great measurables - it's easy to see why he will be in competition for number one after the combine. As I said before, if the Colts are trading up, it will be for Levis, imo. It's a gamble, sure, but it could really pay off big time. Personally, I think Bryce Young has a higher floor by far. Maybe a tad lower on the ceiling, but not much. I think Young is more likely to hit his ceiling, as the limiting factors are ones he's been dealing with his whole life, not something he needs to learn and grow once he gets into the league, essentially.
