Teams talk about it all the time - where do you think "Trust the Process" comes from?

I think pretty much everybody in the NBA knows when teams are tanking. It isn't a "secret". I mean, people were laughing at the Thunder tanking and collecting draft picks to tank more, but now they're talking about how great they're coming along and the Rockets should be as good as they are. People's memories are fleeting. I think anybody that could think rationally would've said "they've gotta be tanking..." with regards to the Rockets. As bad as we are, we're still basically tied with the 2nd and 3rd worst teams and only about 3 games ahead of the 4th worst team. Orlando is next and they're 6 games ahead of us and still suck despite their talent, history of suckitude, etc. It's hard to tank and be guaranteed that worst record from the looks of it. Here's to hoping we slow the tank next season and get around 30 wins, at least. If we still are this sucky next year, I'm going to be perturbed. Part of me is praying Jalen is in on the tank, too. lol

Maybe front office should've treated a vet of Wall's caliber with a bit more respect? Telling him to be away from the team and relegating him to bench for 10 minutes of playing time. That's pretty much a slap in the face to a guy of his level of reputation. I'm sure Harden was getting a different type of treatment till the very end because he was popular with the fans and still in his prime. Pretty easy to see that this stuff will make its way to public sooner or later.

"Funny" thing is, the only guy who is current player and has significant stature and some self-interest is Harden himself. If he truly wants to make a return here, he may have to get on social media and say something nice about the organization.

If no Media Credential Members; CLUTCH, JACKSON GATLIN, ROOSH, BIG SARGE, ETC, ETC ask Silas about this by tomorrow, we can't respect them!

This needs to be addressed and not just a one time thing!

I guarantee we didn’t trade for Wall thinking we were gonna pay him max money to stay away for 2 yrs. We obviously made a bad trade and mismanaged the situation making things worse.

Shhhh! We tanking. It's gotten us Jalen and Jabari and it's going to get us Wemby this year. It's all part of Stone's plan.

    Well… let’s see.

Let’s use one player as an example - Kevin Porter.

He has gotten away attacking his coach, leaving a game at halftime… he is late to practice more than anyone not named “Wood”… he has massive mood swings, regularly screams at staff… he has given up on possessions when he dislikes calls… and for all of that served a one game suspension and got a massive extension.

This year Porter has supposedly been more consistent being on time to practice and is only a dick twice a week instead of 3-4 times.

This year Jalen Green has been late more often… Eric Gordon just goes through the motions… and Jabari Smith has threatened to curb stomp Green and Porter several times but at least he and his dad are disgusted by the culture.

Martin’s old man can see it’s a **** show too, and you better believe any free agent looking to be overpaid will too.

Hi @Nook, you seem to have some insider info.

Do you know anything about these weird rumours that Alpi supposedly didn't work hard in practice?

He always seems to give it his all in the games.

I will be the last person to call Wall a “winner”, but what he is saying is consistent with what I have been told.

It is also consistent with the whispers around the league.

From Hollinger saying the Rockets are a disaster under Silas.

To Thorpe stating the Rockets are a clown show around the league.

Kenyon Martin didn’t want his son on this team or with the Rockets organization.

Austin Rivers has commented on the current Rockets organization not being good.

Windhorst has said that Fertitta and Stone are not positively viewed around the league.

Daryl Morey referred to Stone and Eric Gordon when he said he floated an insane trade idea to the GM just to see if he would trade.

Woj was angry after Stone used him and lied to him about Gordon.

Eric Gordon has said nothing has improved this season.

This IS the current Rockets in 2023 under TF, RS and SS.

I haven’t heard of Sengun not working hard in practice. He was one of the hardest workers with Lucas and Weaver last year. Unless something has changed in the last month, I don’t believe it… I do know Sengun and Hollins have had words, but that isn’t a surprise because Hollins is a defensive hard ass and Sengun is really competitive.

Losing isn’t the problem… it’s a lack of culture, a lack of accountability and a lack of development… you can lose and still have good coaching and improvement- look at OKC.

This to me is the most damning part of the interview. The lack of accountability within the organization as we move forward with the rebuild.

The organization is letting the crops rot on the vine here. This is not the culture this organization should be setting. It starts with Stone and down to Silas. And really Tilman for not recognizing the culture Stone is setting and Silas not holding players accountable and letting bad habits poison the well.

Trust me I know. I was getting push back for saying Orlando is doing it right. It’s why I said lose at all costs is terrible. Rockets aren’t even tanking right. You’re supposed to play your young guys and live with the results, win or lose which ends up more than often in losses. They’re tanking by playing EG and KPJ 40 mins while cutting their young players minutes. It defeats the entire purpose.
