Yeah… they already don’t want to play on the Rockets unless they are way over paid. The players and agents and coaches all know Stone, Silas and Fertitta are clowns. Hell, even Lucas alluded to it in the interview last year. The problems start at the top. When the Rockets name gets brought up, people in the league laugh.. and it’s not the rebuild, it’s the amateurs running the team.
Tillboy and McNair jr. try not running their organizations into the ground challenge (impossible) Please don't sell the team any time soon, Crane.
This is fantastic stuff, not only have the armchair coaches figured out the exact perfect way to cosch this Rockets team to victory, which i guess was playing 6 foul/36 minute, defibrillator after 20 minutes rookie Sengun 44 minutes a night so he could outscore the opposing center 44-42..., .....but it's so obvious that they are correct that only an honest-to-god , intentional act of conspiratorial sabotage could have prevented their dreams from being realized. Trust the plan! Q
What part, specifically? Not playing John Wall? Is there a minimum # of games John Wall has to play? Have the Clippers reached it?
Listen, John Wall is not going to win Jeopardy! in his lifetime, but I have to give him credit for being real. No games, he tells it straight. Of course, being fabulously wealthy allows him to speak his mind. But it is refreshing that he doesn't hold back and play fake games. You know where you stand. On the other hand, the dude got paid A TON of money by our organization for doing very little. It would be nice if he could repay the favor by at least not disparaging the team.
Take it with a grain of salt. We are only hearing walls side of the story. He could be embellishing or exaggerating it like samfisher to sht on the org. Best not to take wall too seriously.
Those guys would definitely have this team sitting on about at least 15 wins and by season's end . . .about 25~35 predict the WORSE record this year in the whole league? I thing is . .. winning 25~35 would bounce us out of the top spot We DESPERATELY want the top spot Silas WILL NOT be here next year Rocket River
This sucks but doesn’t shock me. I was hopeful that Tilman becoming more reserved in speaking about the Rockets post Chris Paul debacle meant that he was learning and turning over to others more intelligent. Ugh.
I'm talking about the Rockets being the worst team in the league for the last 2.5 seasons, which is about 200 games (though i guess it's less bc they only played 70 or something in 21, i forget) Relax, read, breathe, add.
Nice strawman, who said they would be some contender if not for intentionally tank? The point is the team is intentionally trying to look bad and thus look bad. But hey, wouldn't want to get in the way of your talent evaluation which includes Jalen Williams being a better prospect than anyone we have on our team.
Some of these lineups are absolutely horrendous and I just thought Silas was a moron. if it’s Stone/Tilman forcing a tank then this team is as ****ed as the Texans. I disagree with the trash player hot takes. There were wins available that we gave away on purpose. Sengun/Green/Smith are all salvageable foundation pieces if you do it right. Just get Lunhow in here already.
whatever he did last night, for the last 200 games is overwhelmingly supported by the visual and empirical evidence" Math must b hard for u buddy. U can't claim that u been watching 198 games worth of evidence that supports your narrative that sengun sucks when he only played 112 games w/ a bunch of them with less than 20 mins. 2021-2022: 72 2022-2023: 40 Why would I care that we sucked 2020-2021 or the other 88 games Sengun wasn't even playing? Makes no sense. If u gonna say someone sucks and u have evidence, your credibility is kinda fked if u r caught making numbers up.
[ The conspiracy goes back even further - did you know the Rockets once had the 3 time reigning scoring champ and MVP on their team.... Currently leading the league in assists....and traded him? Follow the scent gumshoe... That's not just me, most of the writers who bother with Rookie ladders and rookie rankings have Jalen Williams ranked in top 5 now. Lowe was going on about how he's a top 5 guy in a redraft or something just on Friday. Smith Jr is closer to 10 or so, iirc
