I'm not sure how much you know about Akeem/Hakeen Olajawon but Alpi could never be as good as Hakeem on the basketball court. For us to be having this conversation is quite absurd. However, everyone has their own opinion, so I respect yours but you're wrong.

Hakeem was dominant on both ends of the court. As a matter of fact, the players who played with him would have players blow by them as well, but they knew who was behind them....HAKEEM.

I'm not saying Alpi is a bad player, as a matter of fact, I think he's good, he's just not great like so many SOFs think.

A cornerstone, NO! A piece, yes.

Sengun could not make that pass, I know this is hard for some to understand. He neede d Jabari to cut because the angle there meant that Sengun would either travel or get the ball stolen Bari should have saw that and cut. Some of these guys just dont want to cut for whatever reason they just want to stand there even when not feasible.

 

Just now watching the game. Coming together. The 10:13 to 10:02 mark in the 3rd, with those guys, is the future for real. Love that ish for real!

I'm no SOF, but man he makes ish look easy sometimes. I know it was Thomas Bryant for the most part, but his Ish is crazy.

Team looks better running thru him no doubt.

 

I wonder if watching this gm, KPJ realizes what style of play optimizes this squad the best AND whether he'll adapt for the better or not.

If Sengun was as good as Bill Walton was on the Celtics, that would be something. The Trailblazers version is up there with any center ever.
