Well said, Sengun as a competitor should be in the game in the 4th and be frustrated by poor coaching keeping him on the sideline while the team collapses. The only solace is Silas is a lame duck and year 3 Sengun will have a competent coach and improved team around him.
What you’re saying has nothing to do with what I’m saying. In fact you seem to be saying a person can have amazing impact on the court even with bad defense, which further makes my point we shouldn’t freak out about Green.
His defensive rating was 120 which was better than Pau Gasol and only 1 less than Metta. His defensive rating was actually better than ANYONE on the Suns. I watched the entire series man, no one questioned his defense that series. It was a series of two great offensive teams with great shot making. He wasn't a defensive liability by any means. Sure, if Jalen can average 33/7/8 and put the team on his entire back while shooting 50/43/90 then yea, no one is going to bring up his defensive miscues.
not sure but somebody told me its the same agent jokic has, perhaps they perceived jokic's comment as his agents play?
According to Hoopshype, it's this guy: https://hoopshype.com/reps/sean-kennedy/ Going to their website, it does indeed look like Jokic is one of the firm's clients. Interesting.
Not to take sides on this discussion, I want to add a reminder about defensive rating from basketball reference: Out of necessity (owing to a lack of defensive data in the basic boxscore), individual Defensive Ratings are heavily influenced by the team's defensive efficiency. They assume that all teammates are equally good (per minute) at forcing non-steal turnovers and non-block misses, as well as assuming that all teammates face the same number of total possessions per minute. Gasol, Kobe, Metta playing 40+ minutes a game will certainly have similar defensive ratings and the differences are not measuring anything meaningful. I honestly think defensive rating stats are useless.
i suspect agencies have a lot of say and hold a lot of real real estate and power in nba... some of them 100% more influential than owners or FOs..its like in real life, the real or defacto owner is not the one the firm or house is registered to
NBA teams do not play hard in the first 3 quarters.....that is why we look ok, once they start playing defense in the 4th we crumble like cheap cornbread. DD
its not jokic its jovic a rookie from miami thats on the list... this is one of the weakest lists of players...no wonder rockets management wipes the floor with sengun...big big mistake by alpi to sign with this weak guy...he has no power or no sign that hell have power in future to provide/promise good deals for rockets to pay for treating alpi well..tsk tsk tsk edit: Agent Ranking: 35 lolololol
Yes, this particular individual works with Jovic, according to Hoopshype, but when you go to their website, they have a big photo of Jokic on it. https://fanspo.com/nba/agents/jeff-schwartz/23 Seems to be the no. 1 agency, ahead of Klutch: https://fanspo.com/nba/agents
This seems to apply and needs some Rockets References So Are we tanking or are we TANKING??? Rocket River
however this is the agency the agent belongs to, is a part of https://www.excelsm.com/talent/basketball/ still not one of the best, average at best or below average id say
no i think Schwartz only belongs to the agency and he is no 1 agent ..imho this is the ranking of individual agents not the agencies edit most powerful, controlling the most money, most teams, seems to be Caa sports, waserman, clutch btw hoopshype says lindeman is jokics agent https://hoopshype.com/reps/michael-lindeman/
Silas and stone does this on purpose. It’s the only reason they keep doin the same thing over and over every game. At least Hinkie was transparent
