The longest losing streak in the history of the league might not get it done.

Stone said, unequivocally that the record doesn't matter.

Stone won’t do it. It’s going to take ownership. Stone is an idiot though. By firing Silas, you’re only buying yourself time. Either way, both need to go. Imagine hiring the worst coach EVER(the numbers say so) on your watch. That’s fireable off that alone.

We don't seem to be improving at all. Literally worst team in basketball 3 years in a row. Teams regularly rest many of their starters when they get a "free" play versus us.
Can anyone say we are any better than when we went down the tanking path?
I think some talent is there but honestly we make the same mistakes every game. Surely our staff can teach them something?

The main issue I have is the Rockets are wasting time in not knowing How good is Mahmoud Abdul Fattah these last 39 games can be very beneficial if he became Head Coach so the Rockets can know He can Coach, is he Alpha Personality, Can he mix and match.

Stephen Silas really is a negative in not being knowledgeable enough in How to Properly use Alperen Sengun in Passing Situations, Mix and Match with Alperen on the Floor, Mix and Match with Jalen Green.

Daishen Nix body looks like Barkley, how can he defend and move laterally, he has no quickness.

TyTy put up 53 points in the G League and he gets very little playing time. High IQ, Motivational in talking on the court.

I think if a bunch of fans got together and starting posting in a a sports forum would do it. Oh, and they should complain about the same dam thing every night! Yeah that'll get him.

    Exactly.

He will not coach this team next season.

Not sure why people would expect we should be "improving"

Each year we are casting off more and more vets, and adding more and more young players.

Of course the product is going to be worse each year. The younger you get, the worse you get.

We only have 4 players that were even on the 2020-2021 squad.
    - Eric Gordon is the same player he always was.
    - KMJ is much much better
    - KPJ has taken steps forward
    - Tate hasn't played this, so TBD.

People have never seemed to grasp that this team is still descending, and hasn't even completely torn down the old team yet.

Yet Orlando is winning (more) games, competing and their young guys are the ones doing it. Stop with these excuses. Memphis was young and they were competing. No one expects us to win a lot of games but there’s no chalking up to youth when you’re losing by 20 every night, especially when you drafted 2 top 3 picks the past 2 years. The rare time they do win is not even because of youth, it’s because EG turned back the clock or KPJ went off. Most of us don’t even care about the record but the point of a young team is development. Who are they developing?

Orlando has had 7 20 win seasons in the past ten years.
Orlando has had 2 30 win seasons in the past ten years.
Orlando got to 42 wins one season. That was the highlight of their past ten years.

Nah my guy, its youth. Their average age by minutes played is over a full year older than ours.

You really don't have to overthink this.

The only thing that would get Silas fired this season is if we do not have one of the 3-4 worst records in the NBA (i.e. if we win games). So imagine how stupid it is to point at losses as a reason to fire him.

Lovie Smith really backstabbed the Owner, GM, the Fans on his way out for a Stupid Win and 2nd Pick of the Draft.

Lovie Smith being ever hired as Head Coach I think will never happen again.

Imagine giving up Jarrett Allen and Caris LaVert when you had them on your team and passing up on a supposed first rounder for Gordon. I won’t even get into the Wall situation just so we could give KPJ 30 minutes a game at point guard, but then inexplicably play Schroder 25+ minutes a game when paying 45 million for a decent guy to sit. Of course add in there that he refuses to get rid of his best friend Silas with the worst record in NBA history!!! On a positive note, he is a good drafter.
