Difference is Harden is scoring at a very good 60.3 TS% compared to Westbrook who is at an absolutely god awful 49.4 TS% which actually makes Jalen Greens pretty bad 52.7 TS% look ok.
The asinine James Harden hatred in this thread is hilarious. Acting like bitter ex'es. Harden balling out this year in the facilitator role supporting Embiid & Maxey. All-NBA candidate.
The fact you lump harden with one of the highest basketball IQ’s and ability to run a team with Westbrook tells me how objective you are. Nice try. You just made a complete fool out of yourself
Harden since he came back from his injury 22 pts 12 assists 7 boards on 40 percent from the three point line and 48 from the field. 1.7 steals as well. Since his return the Sixers offense has gone from 11 th to number 1 in the league at 126 points per game. He makes no one better .. but wahh that’s what they say
Harden took the Utah j*zz souls tonight. Including 18 points on the last 6 minutes to carry the Sixers in Utah.
And he became the first player in nba history to have a 100 30 points and 10 assists game ….But he is washed I tell you
Regular season doesn’t count guys. Sources say the NBA will soon announce the regular season will be completely done away with because it doesn’t matter for anything. No more all stars, all nba or mvp awards. Irrelevant.
The issue is the playoffs and will always be the playoffs. Until then you'll have the typicals make another appearance in this thread and remind you via lame jokes and name calling.
Is a players goal to best regular season player ever? Or to win championships? people like me have simply stopped being surprised by his magnificence in the regular season. He’s an all time great in the regular season. it simply has not carried over to the post season. what’s different between the regular season and postseason 3 things: 1 pressure 2 game planning 3 seeing the same look over multiple games (see 2) maybe he finally gets past both of these bugaboos this year but I highly doubt it. you call us haters but forget to mention Shaq, Kenny, Charles and every other nba analyst in the same breath. They’ve all pointed out the same thing. Much more vocally than I ever have.
In Clutchfans history every long running player thread has become 2-5 people with a fetish for discussing that player for years. It's certainly interesting.
Yeah at this point the truest statement about him as a playoff performer is that while he has had absolutely atrocious games, overall in the playoffs he’s been pretty damn good, which doesn’t exactly compare to the outright amazing that he is in the regular season. But the idea that he’s an overall bad player in the playoffs ended by all statistical measures years ago. His scoring efficiency used to be absolute garbage and it’s now at a very respectable 59 TS% for his playoff career. The overall counting numbers are all there. The overall advanced numbers are all there.
ummmm…… the whole point of sports is results oriented. Unless you wanna be soccer mom and give out participation trophies. and yes the stats do back up that he doesn’t play at the same level in the playoffs. jeez louise
