It’s obvious that many players, not just Sengun, have lost the respect for the coach. He’s lost the trust of the locker room, and frankly things have been way too loose in general. It’s time to cut the chord.
sounds like you need a brain - Tinman style you’re off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of …..
Players don’t care about that. The person drafted might play their position. They want minutes to prove their worth and get a significant contract.
Today was all time questionable. Why did Boban Play in first quarter? Then I have no idea what Garuba does anymore. Early in season he was bringing energy and hustle but now he's just out there running around. And don't get me started on Nix.
this is why tanking never works...what you get in higher picks you lose tenfold on other fronts... and its not such a difference between 7th and 3rd pick....or 16th and 7th....gsw got steph at 7..stone got alpi at 16...kobe was taken at 13...devin booker 13...butler at 30...isaah thomas at 60... only a shortsighted scrub analyst believes theres a difference today in talent or basketball genes based on if player is drafted 3rd or 16th... bucks got jrue for 3 picks and rockets ruined 3 picks just in this year....stone and silas both have to go( and lucas!)
This should have been Sengun's night to shine. I didn't get to see the game, but the offense should have run through him. This team has every right to be upset with Silas. He's got to go. Hell, Nix has no business sniffing the court over TyTy. He can go with Silas, too.
Jrue rookie season (51 starts out of 73 games) 8ppg and 3apg at 19 years of age Maybe give the young guys some time? Rebuild goal 1 is to get a genuine star player. There are 3 ways to get one. 1. Draft 2. Free agency 3. Trade Both 1 and 3 require picks Also, you have often made the assertion that it doesn't matter what pick a team has, however: Lottery Picks(1–14) → 108/420 = 25.7% probability of All-Star Non Lottery Picks(1st Rd) → 35/449 = 7.8% probability of All-Star Non Lottery Picks(All) → 57/1322 = 4.3% probability of All-Star It seems quite clear that lottery picks have a higher probability of being an all star, and 1st rounders over 2nd rounders. Sure, there are guys who buck the trend, but they are the exception and not the rule
The best thing Nix has done so far in his NBA career was to pull Jabari back in that "altercation" of Mathews when Bari was ready to step on the court. Unfortunately, that's not enough. Anyway, Silas clearly has an agenda to prevent Alpi from shining. It's too obvious.
