The ironic thing - if Orlando had galaxy brained themselves into drafting Jabari 1 we'd be saying what a genius Stone the lawyer is for getting the best player in the last 2 drafts in Banchero at 3.

    There’s bad teams.

Then there’s 50 feet of crap.

    Then there’s us.

Unless Brooklyn becomes a lottery team soon, that trade is going to go down as awful well before 2030.

Im ready to start criticizing him. Many of his moves now may be redeemed down the line but keeping Silas and allowing these awful rotations is too much.

Keep Stone around for draft input, but hire a real NBA General Manager. And get the damn failson out of the basketball office. He can go learn the family business and be in charge of potato acquisition or slot machine maintenance.

If Stone doesn't fire Silas in January still, then Stone should get fired. I don't care if freaking Patrick Fertitta takes over, but this Silas shitshow has to stop.

We used to be the Astro’s with Morey and half this fan base was too stupid to appreciate it. Then Tilman came in and his tidal wave of stupid pushed out morey. We could easily become the Kings of the past 20 years.

Can we just hire Luhnow as a GM and run Astros 2.0

Soeaking of Luhnow, IMO that’s what Rafael Stone is doing. Tanking to restock talent. Luhnow did the same with 4 straight 100 loss season and the Astros were mercilessly vilified in the media. Once that talent matured, look what they became.

This team needs a better leader and disciplinarian at head coach who can develop these players to reach their fullest potential together as a TEAM. Luhnow eventually found that with AJ Hinch. Silas is just a stepping stone and will be fired during the season or at season’s end. And we’ll have a height lottery pick, MKE pick, and free agent cap space. The question is who will be Stone’s AJ Hinch?

I don't think the problem is talent.

Luhnow knew how to develop talent... most of the stars from his drafts and signings outside LMJ were not well regarded
