KPJ: Can someone explain to me why he has become Clutchfans favorite whipping boy?

Unpopular opinion, but we could’ve used KPJ this game, he usually is pretty good at making a basket out of nothing and when the Kings went on that gigantic run and the Rockets looked like baby seals waiting to be clubbed, a few points to stop the bleeding could’ve gone a long way.

I hope that when he gets back the offense can still look like it did in the first half, though. Always a fan of more ball movement

Hey, look. Without KPJ, we got crushed twice by the mediocre Kings. Huh. It’s almost like KPJ isn’t the problem.

Losses aren't the problem. Playing sh*tty basketball is the problem. We put up 30 assists and 34 assists in back to back games without him or even a PG to replace him.

Go sort NBA teams by assist %. Look at the top 10 and they are all winners. Look at the bottom 10 and they are all losers.

This is the one thing which everyone is right about when they talk about playing right. Two losses against the 3rd seed in the West is not an indication that nothing changed in our ability to win games over the course of a season.

Any sane basketball fan is going to bet on the young team that averages 30 assists over KPJ's team which has one of the worst assist % in the NBA. KPJ should be watching and learning that his 20-second set up of a shot or pass is absolutely useless and as the PG he's holding back his young teammates to whom he claims to be a big brother.

No, the HOUSTON ROCKETS have had, and continue to have great fans. It's in the forum, where we have a loud faction of whiners and malcontents, that make it seem that way.

Mediocre kings? They are the best offense in the league. Where are they in the standings this season?

Id rather get crushed with Sengun and Green playmaking than KPJ and Green playmaking.

The team plays better when KPJ’s out. What we miss is KPJ’s scoring. Efficient or not, he’s giving us 20 points a game.

Add to that Kings are a great offensive team (#1 on offense I believe), it’s hard not to get blown out.

But if we can replace KPJ with someone that can give us an efficient 15 ppg with good defense, I bet we’d be so much better.

Actually yes or at least KPJ comes off the bench.

Far more movement on offense and less iso/your turn my turn.

They got blown out by SAS with KPJ playing. So there’s that.

I was thinking the same thing.. it’s also funny how fans were so happy that KPJ got hurt so they can see a different offense. They talk about a quarter or 2 that we looked so good without him, but about the times we looked great with him? The bulls game or even the 76ers game, like come on

You KPJ stans are so happy we got blown out without KPJ. I’m just saying we got blown out by a bottom dweller WITH KPJ too.

If you can’t tell the difference between the games with and without KPJ, you should stop watching.

If we’re gonna lose with or without him, I’d much rather watch some fun basketball.

It’s not about you and what you want. I also never said I’m happy about us getting blown out. How about you stop watching if you only enjoy it when one of our best players is hurt. The bulls, bucks, and 76ers games were the most fun to watch. You had fun watching us lose by over 20 in back to back games? Yeah, you’re not a real fan. Btw, you’re from Atlanta, so go watch your hawks play

Really do b feeling like kpj fans don't actually watch the game if they couldn't see the difference between a kpj led offense vs the last two game offense.

We needed kpj scoring abilities for sure but the offense and playmaking looked way better w/o him handling the ball.

Defense blows regardless with or without kpj. But the difference how the team plays with or without kpj is astounding. It's not a coincidence that our youngster had career nights on two different games.

And it wouldn't have been that close if not for Jalen Green going Super Saiyan in the first half.

Which we've seen KPj do at times.
