ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Kings 1/13/2023

Once upon a time in 2005 I witnessed the Rockets lose by 40 to the Mavs and thought I'd never see a game like that again. In 2022 it dawned on me that this is now the Tilman Fertitta baseline.

 

That's an outstanding 3rd quarter for tanking purposes, but a terrible one for development, teamwork, rotations, defense, and coaching.

 

We need a pg and a backup pg. These pgless fives without any player who can see the floor are utmost crap.

 

You see how their coach actually coach his players unlike Silas

 

These Rockets have no ability to adjust to an opponents run. A lot of that is on the players, but the coaches need to be held accountable for that too.

I expect nothing in the 4th.

 

Also they missed the same shots that went in before

 

Jabari made the gap to 10 pts and it's 20 pts loss now after Silas sit him

 

The only reason I watched was to see how long it would take for the Rockets to go down 20.

 

Hopefully a step closer to getting Silas fired

 

Boy that escalated quickly.

 

It doesn’t have to come off the wheels like this. We stopped playing defense and we stopped moving the ball. That’s literally what happened

 

So this is fun basketball to watch, Roosh?

Jalen's shooting form is really not good man.

 

It’s been my concern with having KPJ on the team in such a large roll all along. You can’t coddle a selfish bad player and expect other players to not notice and replicate.

 

Mercy kill this game.

 

Jalen with 25 at the half and 27 after 3. How many does he finish with? 28? 28.5?
