How can you be sure? These minority coaches keep taking these interviews. I assume they feel they get value out of it - if not, it would mean they are kind of stupid for wasting their time. It's not like anyone is required accept the interviews.

That said, rather than get rid of it, I would suggest expanding it to OC/DC positions. Head coaches generally come from that pool of candidates, and I don't think minority coaches have much trouble getting position coach jobs or things like that. So getting those position coaches interviews as coordinators should keep helping to expand the pool.

The player would have to be a generational player for me to have to deal with DM. Out of that group Parsons is the only guy that meets MY description of generational.

Remember Beltran and Boras with the Astros?

Yeah...the Astros and Boras were professionals and they dealt with each other after that.

It's absolutely stupid to think that an agent would blackball a team, and vice/versa.

What is up with Cal and Hannah now doing interviews and press conferences together.
There is pussay whipped and then there is this hopeless motherf'er.

Hannah does have a nice comforting voice that takes away from Cal's.

    Points:
They were 'happy' with the win Sunday.
Nick Caserio was on their list even before Easterby got here.
Hannah's first car was a Civic
We have to play chess not checkers lol.
Hannah: "We've not received that question from the interviews." -when asked what will they answer when a potential coach asks why should I trust you when you've fired two coaches after 1 year.
Hannah "We're not a racist organization."
Hannah: "Cal is not slow. He's very thoughtful" She didn't say slow but she was definitely addressing you guys that poke fun at him.

Basically It's another great day to be a Texans fans.

It's the Texans "Change The Narrative PR Tour" coming to a sympathetic radio station near you!

I don’t know if putting these 2 out there more helps the Texans brand. They aren’t charismatic, thought provoking or all that interesting. The interview was just a bunch of softball questions and won’t move the needle for their image.

Winning is the only thing that can help them…

I think the first thing is clean house. Get rid of Casario and start over. He botched our 1st round pick. It was a dumb pick at the time and a season later it looks like an even dumber picks. He doesn’t have a good track record on the draft with the Pats. He’s on his 3rd head coach, and completely mismanaged those processes. Get rid of this guy already.

Well damn, then why did he allow his staff to interview for lateral positions?

No! I wish y’all would think. He’s going to demand 40-45M and that’s the majority of the cap we have. We wouldn’t be able to fill out our roster.

Yeah, no ****. The top ten highest paid qbs make anywhere from $40 -$50 million a year.

That’s what it takes to sign a franchise qb. You don’t see teams like the Chiefs, Browns, Bills worrying about that.

That’s what the draft is for. To draft cheap, young and talented players.
