I can decide to not send my children to them, and I am never affected by them. On the other hand, transgender activists have an expectation of everyone else catering to their sensitivities, forcing artificial language changes upon everyone else, sending biological men into the bathrooms/changing rooms my wife and daughter use, and getting very aggressive if they don't get their way. These ideologues have actually achieved that in many German universities, papers get graded worse if one doesn't use their butchered version of the language ("gendered" language). So this is not just a matter of "live and let live" (which I am perfectly happy with), it has become a matter of a small minority trying to force everyone else to conform to their demands. You recently said you're gay. I can tell you that I know quite a few gay people are just as annoyed with this forced ideology as everyone else.
