Its a shame that a petulant 22 year old needs to take it upon himself to speak out about SOMEONE being a leader for this team. In reality maybe it should have been Sengun since he's been a pro basketball player for 4-5 years now, but he didnt feel like taking on that burden. Who else should it be? Mr "I dont give a FK" Eric Gordon?

If KPJ blurting out some dumb title irks you thats fine, but how is it setting the bar too high on the worst team in the NBA? Sure seems like everyone else defers to KPJ on the court whether thats good or bad. This team needs a legitimate veteran presence in the worst way. I hope Stone can find a star level vet in the offseason to show these guys the prep work necessary to sustain a long career.

I’m not entirely against benching anyone. Green came back a much better player after his injury last year. I think time on the bench observing and discussing can be helpful. But I can understand the argument for not wanting to do it with your top picks.

The complaints about poor shooting by everyone starting with KPJ are valid. Our bench has better shooters, particularly from 3, to place around him. Why not see how that affects him, the bench, and the starting unit by moving him to the second unit? You’d be helping out him and the team.

I want some different looks. We need a new data set.

Because he is a low IQ player.

low IQ players are extremely damaging to your team.

I like how you failed to follow along in the conversation and embarrassed yourself.

It was about the last 14 games.

    Better luck next time

    Actually this is 100% wrong.

He is a decently high IQ player - he is reading most of the situations right, his teammates are just not making shots.

Him having to pass to a 20 and 19 year old on the perimeter that can't shoot even 33% from 3 and being in a 3pt dominated setup are the biggest problem.

KPJ's BBall IQ is pretty danged high....

Nonsense, put Jalen and Jabari in the second unit, they are the ones that stuck right now. See if they can get right against other team's bench units while starting more deserving players.

    It's about accountability.

Lets just play along and use your new rotation, you would place a even heavier burden on KPJ and it would enhance his hero ball / And 1 shots and you would be back to rinse and repeat saying they wouldn't have a competent other ball handler n playmaker to help him in the starting lineup so he has to do all the creating and most of the the time trying to score unless you think Garuba/Tari will suddenly morph into Malone/Kawhi on offense

Did you ever play ball at any level or had any fam members do so? And if they or you did play, did you rip into them(and yourself) for sucking at playing? Just asking for my significant other

Kpj bbiq isnt one of the lowest I seen but it's not that high when compared to other pgs. U have to have either a super big ego or low bbiq to run into 3 defenders multiple times forcing up inefficient shots.

Why would that place a heavier burden on him? He'd have better players on the court with him and he'd be able to lean on Sengun to help out with the ball handling and creation. The point is you start your best players to give your team the best chance. Starting 2 of the worst performing players on the team doesn't help anyone.

Removing a super ball dominant chucker like Green...who provides less than nothing defensively, and a guy who is completely worthless on offense in Smith, replacing them with guys who will at least try a bit, would make things easier for everyone. Let them learn how to play basketball off the bench, if they ever get any good, then start them. Make them earn it.

As to if I played, I never played basketball competitively, just at parks and whatnot, it's actually how I first injured my knee during an offseason.....but I did play baseball and football at different levels competitively and I can't imagine it's terribly different. If a player sucked, but was starting, they'd definitely hear about it.

The issue here is undeserved playing time

Because of the type of offense that Silas wants to run, they only throw it to Sengun to try and quasi balance out the heavy guard iso or whatever 5 out they do, they would maybe slightly improve on D but they would look like a early 90/00 scoring type squad from my two cents of the spectrum

Removing a chucker would enhance the other so called combo guard to chuck away more freely for better or worse

Well did you rip into your park ball mates for sucking because I guarantee they all were not on equal level, unless you were playing park ball with the college/NBA all stars

When you are in full rebuild mode you ride it out with your young high picks and really all the first rounders to develop to see who is a keeper or trade bait before rookie deal expires

This isn't a team contending for playoffs, they are a baby squad so they all deserve minutes to learn thru the fire, which is what Stone basically said since he took over

KPJ actually hits his shots though....

The offense should be run between KPJ and Sengun, the two best players on the team.

Get the scrubs out of the way so that those two can dish the ball to players who will actually hit their shots. You see the chemistry between Sengun and KJ Martin....Green can't do that.

Sengun and KPJ creating shots for guys who can't shoot like Smith and Green is counter productive.

As to my teammates, sure, some of them sucked relative to the level of competition we were at. If for whatever reason the 2 worst performing players on the team were starting, EVERYONE would be hearing about it basically constantly from everyone. Scrubs getting minutes other players deserved is a great way to end up with morale problems on ANY team at ANY level. The "well the team wasted a high draft pick on them" talking point doesn't really fly in a group of highly competitive athletes....and that would apply to ANYONE in the NBA.

Nah I agree with Roosh on Sengun and Sengun isnt even my favorite player on the Rockets. The numbers are clear the team plays better going through Sengun. He's a highly efficient post player with great pass vision and the ability to improve in other aspects.

This forum is overwhelmingly anti-KPJ IMO. They don't have to run to twitter.
