Knowing what we know now about Covid, can any conservative here explain to me why do liberals here and there continue to follow the bullshiit narrative?

I don't find much controversy with what he's saying. If anything, it's history repeating itself wrt the public health vs. personal freedom debate.

    https://news.yahoo.com/compared-polio-smallpox-americas-covid-214212735.html

Smallpox deaths ranged from 2-5 out of 100...way worse than mRNA, but smallpox had a 30% mortality rate. It was also widely known for centuries, and there were proven alternatives with different but known risks listed in that article. So it wasn't a panic inducing event due to unknown unknowns like the once-novel COVID-19.

Does he have to lie to prevent deaths? He was the public figure in charge and the deaths were on his watch. You could argue it was someone else's responsibility to check any overreach.

The ethics behind that is contentious, but I've yet to see any deliberate criminality. Even the juicy Wuhan Gain of Function soundbyte doesn't directly connect any known funding research with covid, but the CCP won't fess up there so it'll take a regime change to ever know.

The media might've overplayed his stature in order to further the insurgent narrative against bleach injected Trump, but he's still a human who ****s up plenty. I'll give him credit for fighting and not folding like all the other Trump sock puppets in other agencies. Even Blix, who wasn't a sock puppet, but tried her best to thread the needle inside the Trump admin by winning over Mike Pence, has not been looked as favorably.

That itself should be talked about because she relied on forecasting, reporting and analytics (Google's contact tracing app...wut?) that were not ready for primetime yet we still think we've already arrived. China has also learned that the hard way, yet the marketing of Big Tech's genius is overpowering for that implicit assumption that hasn't been successful in a real time crisis.

Yes, he is a lying grifter who got fired for spreading covid misinformation. He now makes money selling ivermectin and other BS treatments.

Project Veritas is known for deceptively edited videos.

It's 2023, we already know the myocarditis association. This video was apparently taken in 2021 which is when there were already data that showed a likely association, so there is nothing abnormal with the claimed's Pfz scientist to be testing samples related to myocarditis.

I noticed you have been on this anti-vax train lately after Desantis announcement targeting covid vaccine.

No, as I have stated repeatedly I am not anti-vax in general, and not anti-vax when it comes to Covid - but we shouldn't be treating everyone like they have the same risk profile for Covid and the same risk profile for the vaccine. I had 2 x Pfizer, 1 x Moderna, and I had Covid at least once. But I'm 50+ now. My children both had Covid. I don't see any reason to vaccinate them on top of that. And I am strictly against mandates.

I also have a positive opinion of Pfizer in general.

But I don't think that dissenting opinions should be silenced.

So my stance is a lot more nuanced than "anti-vax train".

Imagine if random anecdotes from tweets actually was how science was done. We would all be dead by now lol.

The few ones I know, yes. But most of my other friends are also doing fine. I have one friend who got myocarditis from the vaccine (young, fit, healthy guy). He is fine now, though.

Hope he's listening to his doctor instead of going through the FLCCC Alliance "post-vaccine treatment protocol" that he referenced.

Not sure how is that even controversial. I don't know what's the point of that tweet. Smallpox vaccine causal association (meaning not proven) with heart inflammation was known some 1000 years ago, and the CDC listed it as a potential symptom to watch out for.
