@rocketchamp @Joe Rocket people all over NBA losing their minds because what OP did! somebody should do something!
They both see it, maybe they are being directed not to do it though so the tank keeps on going..... DD
Seems little by little, Alp is becoming the focal point on offense. It's just been a really slow transition
If we get Wemby, will definitely be interesting on what the lineup looks like next season. My guess is that Jabari slides over to SF. As for PG, as long as KPJ is not the primary playmaker, would be OK to keep him at the 1. That said, I would love to see what TyTy can do at point playing with Sengun.
At best, there's a 1 in 7 chance we get Wemby, so I am not holding my breath. If we get hiim, we'll have to figure it out of course but again, unlikely scenario.
Not only is Alpi our best player now, by far, I guarantee you he will still be our best player next year, regardless of whom we draft (including Wemby or Scoot) or sign. He is a franchise player.
I actually think if we get Wemby it's not as difficult a situation as people think. Like you said, Bari slides to the 3 (which I actually think might even unlock him even more, a lot more height mismatches for him to rise up over a la KD) and then Sengun's the C on offense and the PF on defense and vice versa for Wemby. Wemby suits the stretch 4 position on offense and is the shot blocking anchor we need on D. As far as I see it it's a win/win.
Sengun could bang with the bigger bodies, while Wemby covers for him. That wouldn’t be a long term lineup, but it’ll be fine for next season. I’d rather add a vet or 2 to the starting 5 if possible
Not with a different coaching staff and having gotten rid of KPJ. I maintain - the talent is there - we are (intentionally or unintentionally) not making the best use of the talent available. Very far from it. The two who are most holding us back are Silas and KPJ.
