Well, 4 Texans are on the Athletic's all-rookie-through-4-weeks-meaningless-list-team, so maybe that can soothe you. https://theathletic.com/3656061/202...e-team-2022-draft/?source=user_shared_article
I was thinking about Pitre's recovered fumble that wasn't on Tuesday when the Mariners were up. It would have looked nice on his rookie resume. That's all. "Football move" pssh. Receiver chose to switch it to the other arm. He knew what he was doing, You don't do that without possession first.
Yah that was bs call and rule. The ball might've still not been cleanly caught initially, but if the reciever makes an attempt to turn and transfer the ball to the other arm, it should then be deemed as a catch and possession...irregardless if the ball wobbled during the transfer and gets knocked out.
Is it wrong for me to say that Pitre might be the draft pick that I feel most comfortable with at the end of the season…Whatever we do on picks one and 10, (assuming that is where we are ) We have to have them be comfortable draft picks at the end of the next season no doubt., I’m expecting tremendous talent either way
