As a big big Green fan and believer, Wemby is one of the few I'd trade Green for.

Scoot Henderson AND Green is too tough for me to easily say yes because I think a trio of Green/Scoot/Smith wins multiple rings. But I also think a duo of Wemby/Smith/ wins multiple rings with a guy who could be the face of the league. He does have an injury concern, but it's worth the risk imo.

After a few games last year I stopped watching the NBA aside from occasional highlights , I just did not see a bright future when your team wasted No2 pick on the next Swaggy P But judging of how Anthony Lamb stats has improved in a good system ,maybe there's some hope

I think he has the potential to be a star, but he’s not untouchable. Until we overhaul the front office and coaching staff, I don’t have confidence in our org’s ability to maximize the development of our talent.

I understand the process but it’s hard. I want to see what we really have but that goes against the process. I have to trust what I can’t see. Silas doesn’t give off a competent, I want to follow him vibe. He is not what I expected when we got him. I know the situation has changed. Our mad scientist turned into a doormat. The future is not now so Silas needs to change or be changed. Coach did get us Green, so maybe he is our guy. It’s not I don’t know, it’s I don’t have a clue. None of us do.

His draft class was extremely hyped and while it is still deep the draft class doesn't exactly astonish me.

Cade is injured and otherwise decent but not great.

Barnes and Mobley's numbers are stagnating.

Wagner and Green made some progress but it's hard to see them as absolute game changers.

Alperen is one of the only guys I am excited about due to his relatively low draft status.

Nobody is running away with being great.

I can't believe this got bumped. I got filleted, skewered and torched and treated like sht just for asking a hypothetical question about trading Green before the draft, what a difference a few months make. I'd love to have Banchero over Green right now. That's just me. But no matter what, Rockets need a new coach.

His external value is.... crap fellows.

His internal valuation by the Rockets is still probably high.

    Nobody's trading him now.

These trades don't generally start to happen until year 3 or 4 when it's clear you got a Marvin Bagley instead of a Doncic.

Wagner right now is clearly the best player in the class - if Jalen Green had his shooting splits we'd be screaming about the all star team - thank god the Warriors took Kuminga instead of him.

He still has all of the potential and physical tools that he’s ever had, but he has developed some bad habits that need to be coached out of him fast before they set in like a stain. I still wouldn’t trade him yet.

His trade value probably hasn't diminished too much. As prospects, you'd take Scott and Wemby ahead of him this year but Green would fall right in that pack behind them.

If it was Scoot or Wemby for Green, it would be a yes for sure but no to the rest.

If you wouldnt trade JG for Banchero, you're either not paying attention or don't understand basketball.

I'd call Wagner the most consistent right now but his upside is like...fringe All Star at best. You said it yourself, if Jalen had even close to his splits the Rockets probably wouldn't even be in contention for the #1 pick. If offered both right now I don't think anyone would take Wagner still. But Green has looked pretty bad these last few months.

I hope people look at Mobley and at least pump the brakes on what they expect Victor to be. Every time we see one of these "7 footers with guard skills" they usually end up being lesser versions of what everyone salivated over.

I'm not sure he's tradeable. The Rockets likely value him a lot more than anyone else.

Either way, he deserves another year to show he can be a net positive player before we start to give up completely on him.

Wagner upside is really good. 6’10 guy with good athleticism, can shoot, defend, handle and play make is really good.
If you’re saying JG has top 5 in the game potential I agree with you that Franz can’t get there but I can see him being a top 10-15 player at his peak

    upside?! LOL
show me what you thought is steph's, klay's and dray's upside back then before media accepted them as gods?

theres no upside its not a thing...its just a thought in your head...any player can become the best given the circumstances...

Scottie Barnes - You can get him cheap right now, as his role is kinda funky with the Raptors lineups, and his outside shot isn't there yet.

If he was on the Warriors, he'd be a bench player probably not seeing the court very much at all.
