He is going to be 21 on February the 9th, you could easily remember it because the trade deadline is around that time.

Can the ship sink any lower? Things are getting testy. Many people with "brave" takes about how Jalen doesn't have "it". Should be a fun end to the season.

    “Ship be sinking”

“how far do you think it can go?”

    “sky’s the limit”

If anyone is writing of Jalen now, they’re in for a surprise. His work ethic is the one thing that I will never call into question, and that will lead to great improvement, perhaps even sooner rather than later.

It is not fun watching him struggling. But I’m willing to bet it won’t be forever

Thanks for pulling me out of the deep end. That's not the first time, but I really needed to hear that.

Nailed it dude, totally agree. Most people think it's a mystery which young players follow their projections and which ones don't. In truth if you do some digging into which ones have the ability to get into a gym and fix/improve a problem (by choice), those are the ones that keep growing. I'm not talking about people who say they work hard, I'm talking about players who coaches and teammates say work hard.

Jalen is one of those people, we've literally seen him solve his 3pt shooting issue once for example, so I have no doubt he can and will do it again. Another key quality he has is just that star quality, he has the ability to pick up a new skill or copy someone else very easily. The popular kid basically that all the girls liked and all the male nerds hated.

Chapter 3 not many people liked but the lesson was important. Every star scorer was called a loser before they were called a star scorer. There's no way we could have avoided this phase we're going through, though it's made more difficult by the fact that Jalen has to look good embedded in the youngest (and thus dumbest) rotation in the NBA and possibly in NBA history.

People want to ignore how the degree of difficulty is SO high for Jalen to be efficient, but that will make the rise all the more fun. Looking forward to it.

This is all end result of bad management/coaching/tanking.

Instead of get rid KPJ&Silas off, people started to attact to JGreen.

They started with Alpi but as Sengun is the best player in the squad and was voted as the best player of December by fanbase, their next target is JGreen.Jabari next and Tari after that.

My only concern for Jalen is lack of winning mentality. Sengun/Jabari/Tari could help him to get this mentality bu he opted for KPJ style, empty individual stats, no concern for winning.

Just keep the boy with the company of Sengun/Bari/Tari and away from KPJ. He will recuperate soon.

And the thing is, KPJ insists on calling Jalen his “twin” or his younger brother and that means that no matter what, he’ll always be first in the pecking order. Clever move by KPJ..though I don’t think he’s sneaky enough to have done that on purpose.

I have no doubt that KPJ and Jalen are good friends, but sometimes friendship has to take a backseat to building good habits. I don’t know when, but sooner or later I think it’ll be either Jalen or Alpi’s team (or maybe Jabari’s? Wemby’s?) and how KPJ reacts will say a lot about his character

KPJ loves Jalen, but his ego doesn't. That's what's going on when Jalen is hot in the 3rd quarter and KPJ decides it's time to share the ball with himself. KPJ is stuck between these two worlds, he doesn't realize that what his ego wants is no good for his own future.

I have a suspicion Jalen figured it out a couple of weeks ago and he's been in a bit of dilemma about how to deal with it. KPJ's temper has the silver lining of giving him a very high emotional IQ which means he will be sensing it easily, and I suspect that's why he's banging his own chest a bit more at the moment.

This doesn't have to be a competition btw. I wish Green and KPJ were playing the 2/3 spots and the staff was just drilling them about defense and catch and shoot. A wise veteran PG could make these two work together, I really believe that. Just unfortunate that one of them has to feed both of them, and then there's Jabari and Sengun lookin' to eat too.

Other interesting thing is absence of Alpi-Jalen-Josh friendship. We used to see this trio were dancing/enjoying together. Not any more. Alpi recently said his best friends are EGordon/JTate, older players. I guess Sengun fed up JGreen's selfish attitude or did not forget lack of support during Bruno saga.

Not good for future..but can't blame Alpi.

I don't think it's so much of Jalen's "selfish attitude" as it is just people finding out who they get along with best. Nothing points to Jalen being a particularly selfish person off the court, and on the court he's probably the best at finding Alpi, especially in the pick-and-roll.

Regardless, it'll be interesting to see how our young guys' relationships evolve.

The description of the list : Welcome to The Ringer’s Top 100 Players in the NBA, a year-round, around-the-clock ranking of the players making the biggest impact on the league right now.

Just a quick read through of the list and for some reason the name that stuck out was Cade…..what is it that Cade has done that has him deserving of that spot? He’s sucked pretty bad, has been out injured for a while now and will be out for the rest of the season.

I can imagine Kpj and Jalen are on their hoodville tour as an young millionaire adults going on the road but i think Alpi had that phase as 16yo in Europe and aligns with vets more lol

I don't think so. I remember JGreen was supporting Bruno start and I posted here saying JGreen and Jabari would suffer in Sengun-less play (No screens, tiredness, lower fg percentage).

Anyway, I like all of our 7 FRPs and hope they have good relations. We heard that Sengun&Garuba having late night pizzeria trips, Alpi valueing Egordon and Tate higher in friendship but nothing for Californians.

All quiet on the western front.
