Honest question, why you like Harden so much? He is very overrated, there were so many better players during his era. I get he was really good when he got here, he was basically on cheat code until the playoffs. Look, there is no way around it. Harden is one of the most unique players the league has ever had. He wasn't the fastest, he didn't jump the highest, he wasn't the biggest or the strongest. He was all finesse and skill, he perfected his craft. I just don't think he was ever a #1 guy. Which is why I'm asking. He is your #1, I don't see how when there are soo many better players but Harden is the one you defend above all..

So one hand according to your words, Harden was really good and unique and a cheat code (what most called KD with GS) yet he was overrated and there were many better in his era at his apex prime? Sure you can name some who were better in your personal choice but doing so I would hope those players are everything you said about Harden that I mentioned And I can bet most if not all those players you list being so called better all have choked in the playoffs before but they also probably have a ring(s) which will mask the choke job they did in the postseason at some point in their career, while Harden doesn't have that escape route being ringless

I think that's a understated part of the game for a lot of players. Not all open shots are open shots. Great passers like Harden, Luka, Jokic hit you in stride and in rhythm, and pass anticipating your movement. It makes it a lot easier to score. We see this first hand with the Rockets, KPJ might drive into 3 people and then randomly jump pass to a "open" team mate, but they are more likely to not be anticipating the pass or not in rhythm at all.

It's not even that most of the posters you perceive to be Harden "fans" are actually fans of Harden...it's just that most posters are moderate / middle-of-the-road and that you and that other poster are SO anti-Harden, that you think any sort of small positive comment about Harden means that poster must love love love Harden. And then you proceed to attack them for pointing out the positives. Regular poster: "Harden had a 14/10 double double tonight. Played pretty well." or "Despite the losing effort, Harden had an efficient game." You and that other poster, in response: "lolol he still sucks tho! HE TRASH FR FR! GTFO his nutz, u fanboi" There's just no rational discussion when you and that other poster are involved. The thread is too easily derailed because posters start attacking one another and questioning motives, rather than talking about why Harden is doing well / doing poorly or what the 76ers need to do to make themselves better contenders for the title.
