Theres nothing to discuss. 12 months from now hopefully the Texans do a good enough job at losing so they can get a shot at Caleb Williams.

What I don't get it is why did it take this long for baby Huey Cal to finally be pissed about this franchise?

Hasn't he not noticed ever since 2012 we are just a shitstain when it comes to any talk in the NFL? **** Big Ol' b*stard and his reign here.

Cal is just a ****ing moron and finally realized someone took a huge dump in his Cheerios. Just sell the damn franchise, Calvin.

I wonder if Cal/Caserio are going to overpay wildly in free agency to try and make a big media splash to change the narrative

Caserio has been alluding for 2 years that this is the year the cap space balloons, so I would expect us to spend

They still have the Browns 1st rd pick and if they trade down a 2024 1st rd pick should be included in any trade down. That would give them 3 1st rd picks to make a trade up in 2024.

A lot can change over an offseason, but at first glance the Texans schedule next year is incredibly weak. It will take serious effort for them to be in the conversation for worst record in the league.

With no talent and a worthless coach, they couldn't even manage the #1 pick this year. If you assume they actually find a decent coaching staff and use all their picks from this decently, the odds of them being in that position next year are really low. If they flop on this year's picks and get another Culley/Lovie coach, then maybe. But in that case, it won't matter anyway since they'll need to fire Caserio and/or their coach again.

I can't find any update on John Metchie III, when he does come back its almost like a new 2nd round draft pick, hope he is ready for next year but more importantly he is healthy

Lots of good DL FAs need to open up the checkbook. Javon Hargrave, Marcus Davenport, Daron Payne, Dre’mont Jones, Zach Allen, and Poona Ford.

Sign a LB as well. Roquan Smith or David Long.

I’d steal Nate Davis from the Titans to play G opposite Green and keep Howard at RT. Draft a C.

Then draft either Young or Anderson at # 2 and Mayer at # 12.

Lol I hope so but we couldn't suck bad enough this year to land a number 1 pick, doubts about next year.
