uh, no…I’m saying Princeton is very difficult to learn and run correctly, and this roster will fail at it spectacularly u literally tried to tell me they wouldn’t have to make decisions if they ran Princeton… Seriously? they need an actual PG and some veterans along with a new coach
Sengun is the better player to build around. Keep in mind Senguns numbers are him playing without any all star guards and 8 less minutes. At his age, its incredible. He would be a 20 point 10+ rebounds and 5+ assists guy if we gave him the respect he deserved and I belive it would make Jalen a much better player as well.
Youre saying we shouldnt run the princeton because they would have to make decisions and learn the system when right now WE ARE JUST LETTING THEM MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS. That makes no sense. The system provides an organized structure to follow. The idea that these young kids cant learn a system because they havent done well under Silas is asinine. It would take a season yes but ANYONE can learn princeton, it is not that hard lol Its a far better option than letting them go out there willy nilly.
Was just listening to the Dunc'd On podcast for today, and even they are now saying Sengun is our best player.
u are bringing up Denver/Sacramento/GS as examples and wondering why we don’t emulate them with some off-ball heavy Princeton-hub offense…all u have to do is look at their rosters, and then ours to see why those teams don’t have 8 guys aged 22 or younger top 10 in minutes played this team can’t even run the most basic of offenses
Right if all KPJ does is run cuts and shoot and no iso ball he would be a much better player. He cant make decisions on his own in iso. He is a great off the ball player though cuz he doesnt have to make a lot of decisions.
take also in account sengun is being hold back..theres no telling what playing more minutes, better role and and in better rhythm does for a players game you do the math..if mobley was here hed be rotten bad
They cant do it UNDER SILAS because Silas doesnt know what he's doing. Also SIlas doesnt want to run things that way. He wants to put the ball in a guards hands and let them make decisions but the roster is not suited for that. He acts as if KPJ and Jalen are CP3 and Harden. Thats our entire issue is that he doesnt play players to their strengths.
Currently, Sengun score 14.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and .9 blocks a game and Mobley score 14.2 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks a game. These guys on the same level!!! Sengun is a better offense player, with elite passing and offense post up plays and Mobley is a better defense player with elite blocking skills and covering players of 2-5 positions. Sengun is an all-star!!! We must not let Silas downgrade this guy to the bench. The least 2 games he is playing more than 30 minutes a game and he is averaging 20 ponts and 10 plus rebounds.
