the dude who tried to tell me Francis would have never been an All-Star if not for Yao is saying to ease off assumptions…must be comedy hour on the GARM hmm…Anthony Edwards - 2% higher TS, 5% higher eFG, and much better shooting percentages pre-ASB compared to Jalen Green right now “exactly the same almost”…ha
Huh? I never said Francis would never be an all-star. I literally said he had one without Yao and then got voted as starter because of Yao. More than likely he would have been a coach selection or a replacement selection. It was well known at the time and a lot of non-Rocket fans complained that he got the starter nod. I vividly remember.
lmao, here u go… I said Francis was a 3x All-Star, and u quoted me this If Yao was on his team? and this And that honestly would probably be all the appearances he would have had in his career also of Yao didn't join. he was literally an All-Star already before Yao ever came on the scene, and now you’re saying he would’ve still made even more All-Star games yeah, I’ve entertained your stupidity enough for today
some people will say whatever on here, and then turn around 20 minutes later acting like they never said something MFer, I got the quotes right here… sh*t is wild bro
I must say KPJ is playing better the last 10 games: he is scoring 22.7 a game, 6 assist and 5 rebounds a game but 3 turnovers. If we just place KPJ as our SF and trade Gordon tomorrow for a veteran point guard Derrick Rose. Run the ball through Sengun and play Sengun at least 30 minutes and let Rose help develop Jalen and Jabari. Sengun and KPJ is fine we need a point guard to help Jalen and Jabari this year for development
Move KPJ and shake up the offense. Green is the worst player as of right now, but has greater trade value as a sophomore #2 pick.
Stockton, Payton, KJ, Nash, Kidd, Paul… the West had some point guards at the time there is 6 without even looking.
For me the best case scenario for Jalen defensively would be someone who can consistently defend on the perimeter and use his athleticism to make up for his mental lapses off-ball. If I were to compare who I think he could end up being defensively, best-case scenario would probably be like a Ray Allen—not an all-defense player but someone who can hold his own on that end and make big stops at times. Not sure that’s gonna happen but if it does it’d be great. As for Trae, I legitimately think that he’s more of a defensive liability than Green even now. Not only is his defensive IQ just as bad, his effort is worse and he doesn’t have the physical tools to mitigate his laziness on that end. I also don’t really see how Trae can get better besides improving his shooting. There’s not a lot of potential growth there, to me
Steve Fancis was one of the highlights of one of the greatest dunk contests of the modern era Jalen Green's dunk comp wasn't even as good as Chase Budinger's. Case closed
Catt was an elite defender . Don’t compare him to these limited one dimensional chuckers….. Steve for all his warts he was actually a pretty good playmaker who could pass the ball really well if he wanted to.
