With our luck we'll fire Lovie to hire Jerrod Mayo.

It’s been the off-season ever since the playoff loss to KC.

    Fire Lovie
    Hire Gannon
    Extend Tunsil and Howard
Get Cooks to buy back in (long shot)
Sign a FA center and a RB
    Draft BPA with every pick
If qb was not drafted sign vet qb (Baker?)

Buy the Oilers name back and colors. All of a sudden people forget how much of a trash organization they are on Kirby.

Might as well let Mills play if the only option was Baker. Both are horrible but Mills is cheap atleast

Say Gannon comes in and he turns the Texans D & O into league average for the 2023 season. The Texans will still need a franchise QB and have a mid 2024 FRP to get it.

Whether they say it or not, the Texans and their new HC are going to want use the 1.2 pick on a franchise QB, if available.

The Browns FRP, 1.12-ish, could be used on a QB, but the HC will have to think that his staff can coach up that pick into being a franchise QB. This is more of a long shot and might be a CLM for the HC.

Players have the learned the Texans are incompetent and will sign dumb deals. Get then money, and then demand out. He'll get traded or released, collect his money, and go play somewhere interesting. Its super-smart for the players to take advantage of stupid leadership.

Tunsil is showing how its done too. No long term deals, gets to reset the market with every extension every 2-3 years.
