I think he played the entire 2nd quarter yesterday.

A system of off-ball movement with a high post Princeton-hub is ideal for everyone. KPJ/JG/Jabari can still take a ton of shots, but they will be off the catch, and Alperen will set the tempo. Usman is a talented passer too off the bench.

Our SF needs to be a monster defender. Not Eric Gordon.

The fact that we don’t employ and teach such an obvious system blows my mind, and makes me question Silas/Lucas as coaches. Clearly our personnel suits this direction. See GSW/Den/Sac for examples. Again, our backcourt can still lead the team in shots, it is not about the shots.

I still have faith in our talent. I like our players and think we are pretty ridiculous in terms of raw talent. Never forget how young we are. Once we jump from Silas to an Adelman type…

Praying that Tilly opens the checkbook for a sick coaching staff this off-season.

He did but he was HOT when he was subbed at 3:54 left to play in the first and when he came back in the 2nd Qtr they had stopped trying to run things through him and the teams rhythm was gone.

I'm not blaming yesterdays loss on it, but it keeps happening, and I wish Silas would ride the hot hand a little longer before going with pre-established sub patterns.

He did play the second most minutes yesterday as well so we're trending in the right direction but I still think there's room for improvement.

some type of off-ball movement heavy/Princeton offense would be too complicated for this dumb roster

the knock on Tari coming into the league is that he couldn’t remember plays

Jalen Green played playground high school and AAU ball where he got to do whatever, and G-League ball which is the equivalent of Summer League when it comes to quality

KJ - high school and IMG Academy

    KPJ has very low BBIQ

that’s like half the rotation right there

If Chris Webber can learn to run it, maybe there is hope these guys can do it. But first you would want for them to buy in and that's only happening for a quarter.

See I call bullshit on this. The BBIQ means its stupid to leave it in their hands. The last thing you want with a low BBIQ player is to put the ball in his hands and let him make all of the decisions. I commented this on youtube yesterday. Princeton is perfect for this team because it gives them structure and they dont have to make the decisions.

they do have to make decisions…they need to be able to read the defense and make the appropriate cuts and passes based off of that…the entire team needs to be in sync

this team is arguably the dumbest in the league

This team is the reflection of the coach and the "head honcho". Yea they are boneheaded but a strong coach can change that. It would not be an easy change for some but doable.

a strong coach and some vets who actually know how to play

replace KPJ with an actual PG, and even this offense we run right now would be looking a lot better and more organized

It needs high IQ players to read and react. It's not a one-track kind of system. Adelman usually needed a full season to implement his offense which also needed roster adjustments.

That said, if they could run that offense through Chuck Hayes with unathletic dudes like Scola, Battier, and K-Mart, Sengun can kill with it if you surround him with the right guys.

BS… JG and Jabari are not dumb players. Those two in particular can and should play in a system with strong off-ball actions. And while we are tanking, we should be teaching them how.

    not at all

a dumb team full of youngsters trying to run the Princeton offense against NBA defenses…U want them to try the Triangle out too?

I’m sure these guys will grasp it in no time

That can be taught, you have the weirdest argument lol "They are dumb so lets just let them come up with a plan on the fly" LMAO NO. They need structure. You are disagreeing with your own point, it makes no sense lol

A team full of youngsters learning Princeton principles, yes please! Now is the best time to teach them. What do you want to do, wait until they are older? :D

The triangle, no… Teaching off-ball movement off of talented passing bigs, yes. Legitimately zero downside.

In 8 less minutes. Sengun is a star, Houston doesnt treat him like one because our coach has a hard on for KPJ.

Offensively he is certainly better than Mobley, but Mobley's defensive impact right now makes him a slightly better player, at least right now.
