this is prior to their rookie season. I highly doubt the votes would be the same. hell, the last year's pick is enough to know that it wouldn't.

I think people are getting too excited about other rookies that are also able to put up good numbers on bad teams.

That doesn't mean much. When they start winning AND putting up good numbers, wake me up. Right now none of these guys have proven anything, one has proven anything to really change minds.

Barnes/Mobley/Herb/Ayo/... type of players will be in second best. They can't catch Wagner/Green/Sengun/Giddey/Cade quintet unless a major injury.

Meanwhile I hope Green or Sengun gets better career than Wagner. I just don't want to be like biased tv announcers. At the current situation Wagner better than other folk. Hope our youngster catch and pass him.

Why would the votes change? 5 years didn't pass yet.

Do you think Wiseman's first two seasons is comparable to Jalen's?

Yes, that's an actual GM poll, it's the information we have. You're just guessing the GMs would believe the way you do based on no information and I am basing mines on information they have given to us.

You think GMs give up on prospects after a year and a half?

I wish people could go back in time and see what Boston fans thought of Tatum, Warriors, Curry, etc etc.

Like a rookie that comes in and dominates consistently like Lebron is exceptionally rare. Most guys have pretty rough stretches, struggle, etc.

Same mistake. You are still talking about building around and mentioning Draymod. Who the .... Draymond is to built around?

For Rockets: Build around Green/Sengun/Bari/Tari/23' pick. 5 great players
    Back-ups: KJM/TyTy/KPJ/Garuba.

2 out of 9 might be failure, adjust when it happens.

You are comparing him strictly to a Number One option or No 2.

Nope, he can be a 18-7- 6 guy for all I care.

    Or he could do more.

They have Banchero for God's sake.

I didn't say I'm giving up on Jalen. Just saying it's been frustrating to watch. But gotta realize he's only 20.

Lol, really? I thought it was understood that I'm guessing what they would do after 1.5 years and 100+ actual NBA games, as in what they'd do now, not before any lf the 2021 rookies ever set foot in a real game.

I mean, you could be right and if there's a redraft - NBA GMs in the year of our lord 2023 - are still all on board the Jalen Suggs and Davion Mitchell trains.... but, i suspect the guy who was deservedly voted 1st team rookie ahead of them and who is even better this year would probably be fairly highly regarded

The difference is the Magic have a clearer picture of what they can become going forward.

They have multiple bigs that can score and facilitate.

    Nothing more and nothing less.

    Banchero hasn't proven ****.

Many times guys peak their rookie year. You remember Michael Carter Williams? What about Emeka Okafor? Jahlil Okafor?

My point is, these dudes haven't proven anything, none of them have (including Jalen) no reason to be jealous about any of them.

Jealous about Ja? Jealous about Luka? Even Zion if it weren't for the health issues? sure...but Paolo? He ain't prove **** yet, just that he can play and score at the NBA level. Jalen's proven that too.

There's literally no conversation or argument about Paolo vs Jalen. C'mon dude, now you're doing the most.

They also have holes but those are basically in the back court.

What to do with Suggs and Fultz.

I don't see why you get worked up over this, the NBA is full of talent, you could appreciate other team's talents, and evaluate them a tad better in time.

The Rockets' problems are mostly about coaching, managing and what goes on backstage.
