I remember when John Collins was looking better than his class too and we come to find out...ah yeah, that guy peaked and he's a nice starting forward and that's about it.

Point is this. None of these guys have proved anything, including Wagner. They put up points on bad teams, Green proves he can do this. So what? I don't think Detroit is sitting there wishing they drafted Wagner because Wagner can also put up points on his bad team just like Cade or Green.

 

Can we play Boban more? At least he is entertaining to watch.

 

Didn’t watch the game, but check the box score a couple of times and we were up by 20 when Jalen Green had 5 assist and only took 5 shots, checked again and we had lost the lead, Green still only had 5 assist but took 9 more shots.

Based on this very thorough astute observation Combo guard Green = Good
Chucking scorer Green= Bad

 

No excuses bro. He’s just struggling at game speed. Lots of guys can be lights out during warmups. This is on him, he’s gotta knock ‘em down

this game reminded me of the WOW era Rockets. Drains all the joy out of you, so much that you don’t even want to think about it.

A young, talented squad should not make fans feel like this. I watched Every. Single. Game. last season, even the afternoon ones that made me wake up at 4am.

I’m seriously contemplating skipping some (I probably won’t though)

 

KPJ stay looking up at stats during game, soon as someone be it Green - Sengun - Jabari .. get in a hot streak.. he’s going to try and catchup

You're acting like he was some 5th year senior doofus picked in the 30th round from Nowhere state who just happened to get a fast start, and eventually the real athletes will surpass him

He was drafted 8th. He's 21 years old - 5 whole months older than Jalen Green.. He's averaging 20 ppg on good efficiency without a lot of usage.

Why is he doomed to be surpassed by guys who suck right now or are injured now?

I guess we'll see but i doubt your opinion is widely shared.

 

Who said he doesn't play well?

Athleticism matters in basketball, nost top prospects have it, it's better to be uber athletic than it is not. This is simply a fact. This makes Green have a much higher ceiling than Wagner.

Having unique abilities or a toolset that is rare is usually why guys get drafted in the top 5.

 

Horrible sports day in Houston. My apologies- hating this team right now.

 

Cade might finish better than Cade, no problem, he is one of top 5. Others won't.
