From the article… “Gannon could possibly assemble an experienced staff with his connections to former Colts coach Frank Reich and Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer and Eagles quarterbacks coach Brian Johnson. Gannon “knocked it out of the park” and “crushed” his meetings with NFL teams, impressing them with his knowledge, creativity, detailed plans about strategy and staff and his passion for the game, according to league sources.”
If you look at the top offenses in the league, all have young OCs. Hopefully we continue this wave and go with Brian Johnson.
He won't pursue the job because he's an in demand coach with options and doesn't want to willingly sign onto this dumpster fire as his first gig.
I never thought Demeco would be interested after the lawsuit. Let's lose to the Colts and get Lovie fired first, though.
I would be fine with both, but I swear to God, after the fiasco that is today, if they fire Caserio and not Lovie, I will start rooting for the Bills. It's just way easier considering proximity. The only joy I will be able to take from this season will be reading the reports of Lovie being fired.
Whatever happens it needs to be announced today or tomorrow. No need to drag this out like last year.
I hope he packed his office before the plane left because I don't think he's gonna be allowed back in.
How can the Texans fire their winning HC and GM? This is the **** you get when the owner leaks that the HC and GM are getting fired before the last game has been played. The owner should fire himself.
“We were bad this year, and I take responsibility”. Would have had no problem with that… and would have largely been honest/true… and it wouldn’t have led to a tweet.
I've never seen fans this upset with a win...lmao. Today is further proof regarding the stupidity of Cal McNair and Nick Caserio. Lovie told you earlier this week he wanted to win this game. Also, Caserio or McNair probably leaked stuff to the media causing Smith to fear for his job. Lovie had zero incentive to tank this game. Caserio or McNair could've fired Smith before today's game to ensure the tank, or they could've not hired two consecutive one-and-done coaches. This is what you get when you play the silly games with the head coaching position that they've played the past two years.
