Somebody help me out since I don't watch the NFL much since I'm waiting for my favorite city of Houston to get a football team again : Do the Bears need a QB? What are the odds the Bears trade the #1 and possibly lose out on a top non-QB to acquire more assets and the team they trade with takes a QB? I'm just trying to gauge how bad this win is for the Texans.
if the Bears aren't drafting #1 and nobody is trading up for Bryce, who are they trading up for? all it takes is one team to fall in love with him
Depends on how one feels about Justin Fields but no, they aren’t taking a QB. Not sure on the odds or percentages but it’s not crazy. Order not set (except 1 & 2) 1 Bears 2 Texans (need a QB) 3 Seahawks (need a QB) 4 Cardinals 5 Colts (need a QB) 6 Lions 7 Raiders (appear to need a QB) 8 Falcons (need a QB) 9 Panthers (need a QB) 10 Eagles 11 Titans 12 Texans 13 Jets 14 Commanders 15 Patriots
Everyone that is saying “this is good, don’t want to waste that pick on Bryce young”… what makes you think we will have a chance at Caleb Williams or Drake Maye? THIS IS WHY YOU DRAFT THE QB WHERE YOU ARE. Don’t bet on tanking next year. We can’t even rank right. It would be so Texans to take Will Anderson with the first pick and tank for Williams next year and win too many games.. except screw that, we couldn’t even get the first pick this year.
that’s the point. I don’t see a prospect period worth blowing tons of draft capital to trade up to #1 for
Yup…this season shows how hard out really is to have the worst record. The Texans were the worst team but the Bears end up with a worse record.
You can't say the Bears aren't drafting #1 AND nobody is trading up to draft Bryce. Only reason to trade up to #1 would be to get Bryce. Why would a team move ahead of the Texans otherwise?
This isn't the NBA. You don't have to be the top prospect in order to be drafted #1. Hell, Will Levis could show out at the combine and be drafted #1 when he's not even #1 at his own position.
