Why everybody upset I thought y’all wanted Caleb Williams or Drake maye I thought y’all didn’t want Doug flutist with the first pick I thought no QB who is a midget has ever won a superbowl And blah blah blah don’t be mad now
I don’t think the difference between the first pick and second pick in this draft is enough to be upset about.
Yep. Hell, a savvy GM may have even found a way to turn the upcoming #1 pick into even more by driving up a trade market for equally QB desperate teams. But they will have none of that with the #2 pick.
I haven't laughed this hard watching Houston professional football since the Oilers. This sh*t is priceless!
But they’re the worst team/franchise in football and “deserved” the #1 pick. And yes, there’s a lot more you can do with the #1 pick vs. the #2.
It’s culmination of everything. The franchise does very little to inspire their fanbase. They’re not capable of making enough smart decisions to become a relevant football team.
But they wouldn’t have. They need a QB so they’re be pressured into drafting Young. Not doing that isn’t upsetting to me. I get y’all are all very upset about this. I would be if I thought there was a killer QB to take #1. I just don’t think there is.
I'm not even kidding about this, but I gave up on the Texans as an organization during the BOB era because I honestly thought that ownership/management had lost its collective minds. I started hoping this season they'd start to turn things around, but ... I'm going to keep on waiting. I don't think I'll ever lose faith in the Rockets as much as this organization, but in the meantime, I may have to take up following baseball... it's been 10-15 years, but damn... LOL.
When you want them to win, they lose. When you want them to lose, they win. This is the worst football franchise that has ever existed.
