Carter has character issues. I would stay away and stick with Anderson, but hopefully the Texans are taking Young at number 2.

Even if this were the case, you’re not getting the best defensive player in the draft. Texans are screwing this up bad, no going around it.

Number 1 pick gives them control, power over the draft and it’s more attractive to potential new hires. Plus it gets the Texans talked about

This. If they are sold on a QB, it probably doesn’t really matter but you’d rather have absolute control your own destiny vs a meaningless garbage win.

Experts seem to split on Carter and Anderson though. You’re guaranteed one of them.

True but no guarantee you get the one you want. It is extremely dumb giving this option up for a win today.

Mills, I love you. You can stay (as third string).

Wrong thread, but I'll let it stand.

Love this draft. Weapons, offense immediately better, IOL and 1-2 RB punch (I also think Achane can be a returner/slot WR and 3rd down back. Exactly the 2 in a 1-2 punch we need). Then get defense with all that FA money and later draft and then in next draft as well. We can’t fix it all in one draft. But this draft you showed helps us fix a lot.

More interested in where the Browns pick lands.

A few games today have an impact on it.

More teams could be at 7 wins with a win today, or some 7 team win teams could have 8 wins with a win today.

Should we want the Saints or Panthers to win?

Carter does not have character issues. What exactly has he done?
