I don't disagree with you. But as awful as this franchise is, I'm trying to be realistic with my expectations. Caserio is such a massive improvement from BOB, and we know Cal isn't cutting ties with Nick in the offseason. I can either despair over the fact that a so-so GM is in charge of the most important draft in the rebuild of a franchise that has the most incompetent ownership in the entire league, or I can be thankful that at least Nick hasn't completely tanked every draft pick, that he's acquiring assets and that he's at least not the laughing stock of the league (yet). I'm not an optimist; I'm a realist.
