Indy has to be actively trying to lose this game. Indy's averaging 7.4 yards per carry, but they keep putting the ball in Ehlinger's hands in the red zone. Pray for a safety or a turnover here.
This game is going to down in Houston sports lore as just another example of how when something can go wrong it nearly always will.
The fact that this is coming down to playing for a tie in the first game should have had lovie fired at half time. I don’t think I’ve ever been more pissed at this franchise.
Of course they are… and their fans are completely on board with it. Hurts the Texans, helps the Colts, and they can easily trade up if they want a QB. Only Texans battle-fighters would say the players and coaches are going to go for it because that’s all they know how to do…
Here we go. More face masks. Get some late hits in. You don’t have to simply be non-competitive… being hyper-competitive and too aggressive will pay off. EDIT: Unfortunately Colts are countering with impossible double-reverses for lost yards… and Ellinger has another pick or 2 in him.
I’m not a Texan battle fighter. I absolutely say they’re a crappy organization. But players don’t suit up to lose games. They’re fighting for contracts and roster spots here and elsewhere. They don’t care about how we feel about a draft.
i KNEW the Texans were gonna f*ck this up and try to win this game. lol LMAO @ the Colts fans booing them into going for it on 4th and 3 at the goal line instead of taking the FG. MOSS FOR THE TD!!!! LETS GO!!!! Play smart Texans! Chess not Checkers ….hahaha
I know you’re not… but there is a way to go about not actively trying to win this game. They could do what the Bears did and put in their 3rd stringers. They’re “ensuring” things. Decrepit franchises need to do that.
