That’s serious speed but I’d rather have Roschon Johnson

Imagine a world where Johnston was picked at 1-12 and Achane was picked at 2-32. Serious new weapons for whatever QB was picked. You try to give Achane 20 touches per game through RB and I think he can play some WR along with KR/PR duties. I bet he could break 1 or 2 plays per game.

    Then go IOL and DL.

A draft like this would make me very happy.

1-1 QB Young (If you just have to have a QB.
    1-12 WR Johnston
    2-32 RB Achane
    3-64 C Stromberg
    3-75 C-G Avila
    4-103 TE Musgrave

Weapons and OL depth for the new QB to work with. World class speed

Then add DT/LB in FA and re-sign O, Hughes, Tavierre Thomas in FA.

Jamyhr Gibbs is also crazy fast with a 4:32 40, but the best thing about him is the comparison with Alvin Kamara.
Several mocks have him going in the first.

I don’t feel like RB is a need and since Roschon is considered a late round pick, I’d rather him.

    I totally get this,

But when you can draft homerun hitters, you do it.

Guys like Gibbs/Achane are threats to take it to the house anytime they touch the ball and can play WR as well as RB, so you can get them the ball 20 times a game counting ST's and they are likely to score a TD or two a game and that's invaluable.

If Johnson is there in the 6th I wouldn't against drafting Johnson, considering the current lack of depth in the Texans RB corps.

I could say Jaylin Hyatt is a homerun hitter AND plays WR. May even be faster than both and is a position of need.

Yeah, we have Pierce, but who we got now he's injured?
The way I look at it, a dangerous 1-2 punch out the backfield will take a lot of pressure off whoever is under center next season.

Agreed, but Hyatt has mainly played in the slot. I'm looking for more of an outside WR.

A couple of homerun hitters and IOL would make the offense look so much better. Particularly if Cal hires an innovative offensive guy to be the HC. Or if he hires a guy like Gannon an OC like Reich.

A WR would take a lot of pressure off the QB lol that’s wild y’all would want a second running back over a WR

I want both and I want them to be able to put the fear of god in defenses.

Jacksonville won a garbage division and they are the only ones here that have competent qb play among all of these teams

Achane is so unbelievably fast, and he’s surprisingly strong, but I can’t envision him as an NFL running back. I’m not sure his frame can carry much more weight. On a team like the Chiefs though, or for someone who will scheme for him, he’d be dynamic. I’d 100 percent take a flyer on him.

Garbage division or not.. 2 years into Trevor's progression, and he's already getting playoff experience.....Whether you think he'll be a great QB or not statistic wise, he's a damn bona-fide winner.. The other teams in the division are a competent QB away from being perennial playoff contenders.... I'd call that a cause for concern for the Texan faithful.. Better get that QB!

WR is definitely a need. And a decent TE.
First on the list is QB with DE/edge after that.
We got some big holes to fill.
Fortunately, this is a deep class for backs. Another good one would be icing on the cake

Tell me why if Bradbury was added in FA and Johnston was added with the Browns pick that Achane couldn't be that type of player you're describing, if an innovative offensive HC or OC was brought in a long with a QB at 1-1.

He’s not worth a second round pick with this roster. We already have a RB1. No need to draft another that high when we have bigger needs lol this is nuts to even think about.
