Growth Mindset - allows you to step back from the edge of suckiness and view things without agenda.

To me, this looks all on purpose.

I won't actually disagree with DD for a change. If you want the worst record in the league KPJ is who you want to start

Awesome. So you agree that with that growth mindset having a steady ship vet pg like a Conley who can direct players to be in the right positions is much better for player development than KPJ running point?

I know you were asking DD, but obviously Conley would be ideal. What would you give up for him that Utah would accept?

Again it depends on the state of mind for Jazz management. I'm pretty sure there is an internal debate going on there between full rebuild or riding this talent for play in spots at best. If they decide full rebuild at he trade deadline, then our picks and young excess talent like KMJ might be enticing.

Defending KPJ like your life depends on it is a really weird hill to die on.

Just like how you act like Sengun is the next Jokic. Have fun dying on that hill

Sengun will be better than Jokic in some aspects of the game. They have similar strengths and weaknesses.

I think Green can be a better version of Ja Morant :D

At least SOME people outside Houston (Jazz commentators) have that opinion. I don't know a single person who thinks Sengun will surpass Jokic. The only thing you here is that Sengun has similar STYLE and skillsets as Jokic.

Crazy ones! No one's dying. We're all fans.

Just some are smarter than others.

Sengun has more hops. I don't see any reason why he could not match Jokic in all other facets of the game, given the opportunity.

Potential is there. He needs to develop range though. U can only post up so much until folks develop a plan to counter.

Yikes!! You’re super high on Sengun to think he can be better than jokic. I watched Denver the other night and he’s a ****ing monster!

Think about Jokic is it's SO EASY to dump him the ball. Why? He takes up so much God damn space. He's long as **** and thick as ****. And ya his range makes him not only useful with the ball in his hands in paint area which conflicts with our guard's ability to get to the rim for clean looks. So Jokic helps space the floor unlike Sengun who harms spacing at this point.

Like Sengun is great at what he does and we definitely need more possessions going through him but we just can't eliminate the actual good strengths of our guards and that's dribble penetration.

Yes our shooting sucks but the main reason opposing teams zone is a lot is because they are afraid of the guards' dribble penetration especially Jalen's because he doesn't need as many dribbles to blow by his guy.

Sengun needs to learn to shoot no doubt .

Silas is / was right to have him work on his weaknesses . He will have to become more well rounded that just getting the ball in the post .

Same thing with our guards tho . They need to learn how to be moving and cutting off ball too .

All of our guys (except tate ) need to get better at defense too .

Tate just needs to get back in the flow .

As for KPJ , who the thread is about .... he's been worse on D this year . It would really help if we could make shots tho . Hard playing committed defense when you clank everything on the other end .

He's been a bit worse this year and idk why . He should be playing a bit faster , a bit more decisive. He looks like he's thinking more and ends up making worse decisions

Man just kills fast br3aks bc his bbiq isn't good or fast enough to make the right Pass. Lumbering sengun seems to run a better fast break.

    Looks like we are 26th

Honestly can’t add anything to that, you nailed it. Like I’ve said before, let’s see if he can be vucevic first then we can talk about Sabonis. Jokic is just not happening imo
