JVG interview; not advocating per se; but good takes on offense and defense. Also some Rockets call backs.
Unless there is someone at Pop's level available, just let John Lucas serve as interim head coach for the rest of the year and see how he does.
Lol @ naming all these coaches that failed with young teams once they lost their star players …. will be the status quo Mario Elie / Sam Cassell we don’t need any retreads
I hear you, but I kinda think the Lucas/Hollins duo is Tilman's fallback position. I'm not saying this is what I want.
I know, I know..Not what I'd want either. Look, I think it's a moot question as IMO SS isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
Well what we have is broken and a change is very much needed. Lucas is Silas’s right hand (more of the same) and Hollins is not worthy judging from his body of work with us. Coach Fat should be our interim head coach keeping Lucas and Hollins if they want to stay. Keeping Lucas & Hollins give the team stability while Fat is the most successful coach on the staff and has found success with a 1/3 of our current team. We are just holding the team together and building resumes. I believe our next coach should be one of the three: Fat, Cassell or Elie.
She has to be better than what we have now. Silas has taken this group as far as he can. We need to bring someone in that can actually finish the race now. We as fans are sick of this losing. We are beginning to build a losing culture here. This is not good for anyone.
The Monty Williams tree wouldn’t be bad, especially trying to establish some type of culture here. We need to get out of this losing streak. Silas has to go sooner than later. He smiles too much during presses. Us as rockets fans take losing serious. We really don’t want to see that.
Lucas seems to get the most out of the team on both sides of the ball, but I don’t like him for a longterm solution.
